I do not deny these....but as i said before , the prolem lies in the numbers.just check out the whole of middle east today and compare it with the rest of the world in terms of religious extremism, heck the groups you mentioned do not atleast kill their fellow religious members , not the case in Islam, there is a whole figjt going on who is actually the True Muslim. Then uou guys expect others to respect your religion when you boldly dis respect theirs

Yeah and why are the radical Muslims killing off other Muslims? It is because they oppose their filthy doctrine as illegitimate. What are the numbers? Do you buy your own articles number of 300 million? If there were that many why does ISIS and Al Qaeda not even have 10,000 total members? IS has 4000 fighters only, why don't they have over a million at the very least heck they would be happy with half a lakh.

And? How does that relate to me? You have the same problem, just because some Muslims thousands of miles did something then it means I'm too responsible for them. Why should Muslims like me apologise for people who I have never even met. This logic should also apply to all Christians to apologise for genocide of Native Indian, even Romanians, Bulgarians and Greek Christians should apologise too even though it was mostly settlers from UK who committed the crimes.

On this very forum, we have criticized the likes of ISIS and other forms of terrorism. Some few days back, I have clearly said how the Muslim village chiefs of East Bengal failed Bangladeshi society today.

And yet, why do we even see these threads and responses like: "A lot of PDFers are Jihadists." "Muslims are this." "Muslims are that."

If they don't trust us, there's no point. In fact, we shouldn't appease to anyone for the record. They'll just waste your time and energy.

What I see in Myanmar is Buddhist monks killing Muslims for not being the same race as them. You do not see the racial Burmese Muslims being targeted at all.

There are no true numbers for what is happening in Pakistan. The one case that got most media attention was because the family could not accept her conversion.

That is absolutely true. But I want you to consider this. Most people don't know or care what books are written and published. When such a book or cartoon is published, there is a massive over-reaction from the Muslim populace through out the world, there are violent protests, fatwas and speeches from leaders. This is broadcast throughout the world thus producing massive amount of free advertising for the book or publication, causing more people to seek it out and read it. So if these anti-Islam authors get rich doing this, shouldn't the Muslims share some of the blame in making them rich? Satanic Verses was actually pretty ordinary piece of writing and would have confined to $0.99 sale rack within a couple of months of publication had it not been for the Muslim over-reaction. I'd never heard of the pastor Terry Jones or his idiotic plan to burn the Quran in his little church in Florida till there was a protests. I hadn't heard of the idiotic movie from a couple of years back till the huge protests in the Muslim world. Point here is, muslims bear more responsibility for these writers getting rich than their books do. If the Muslims just let it go instead of launching into a large scale hysteria, 99.99% of the world wouldn't know or care that these books are published and in circulation. You're making them rich and encouraging other writers to follow suit.

Things like forced conversion do happen in Pakistan. That's right it mostly happens in rural Sindh though. But what they won't tell you is that many poor Muslim girls are also abducted by rich Sindhi men and forcibly married. Those news will never make it in the media simply because Muslims have to be portrayed as the enemy. First it was the Blacks then the damn commies and now its Muslims.

You are right, they also make comments that Muslims do not speak out when people die in Syria or Iraq but there are countless threads on those killings with countless denouncements on this very forum long before the current conflict in Gaza erupted. These people have a selective memory.

There is no denying the religious clergy exploit Muslims. I don't disagree with this. Muslims will have to reform and get rid of the extremist clerics from with in. Outsiders can't do this.
