Why pakistan should drown it,s mullahs in the arabian sea

Sounds like a cult to me :D

Mullahs should be confined to their mosques and madrassas. They shouldn't be allowed to put their feet in administration of modern countries. That's they way to do it.

Secularism works only as long majority of people want it. These days, Turks are back to square one.

In a way perhaps it is a cult.

I agree fully with your second comment.

And yes, Erdognan is eroding the values of Ataturk.

I never talked about my religion or lack of it.
Nor have I, but I'm always called christian or marxist by fanatic hindus here, hindu by muslims and Pakistanis, secular by both of them. (It's meant as an insult from both.) Nobody has accused me of being a jain yet.

Please lay out a list of measures which must be taken in effect to counter the said ideology.
They should be restricted to their mosques and should no be given any kind of power .Also they should not be allowed to pollute the mindset of our youth.

@Norwegian - His policy was successful because of external factors. The 1971 war, loss of BD and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. People needed something drastic and radical to uplift themselves from the feeling of gloom.
No because after soviet union incaded a muslim nation there was a high islamic feeling in people.Plus in pakistan after the 1971 war people thought it,s a war on islam which is going on.So that scum bag zia ul haq introduced himself at a right time and hence succeeded .

Yes, I know that. In Saudi Arabia, you would get the death penalty. And from what I gather, that's what islamic law states. So the sharia law that @Zarvan types want implemented in Pakistan would take away your freedom to convert out of islam. There is nothing peaceful about a religion that will kill you for leaving it or criticizing it.

(And yes, I know that many people do not believe in death for apostacy, but many do.)

if one is not a practicing muslim who doesn't pray five times a day without any valid reason just out of disbelief or you just don't believe in praying, one is not a muslim at all no matter what his name is or whatever he calls himself. But no one has the right to call him a kafir or disbeliever until he himself declares that he has left the religion.

They should be restricted to their mosques and should no be given any kind of power .Also they should not be allowed to pollute the mindset of our youth.

Polluting the mind of our young youth comes down to us and our own people. Why aren't we capable to teach the religion to our children ourselves. Why are we experts in economics, finance, military but not well versed to teach our own religion to our own children when it is one of the rights of the child that his/her parents need to fulfil otherwise they will be held accountable for. We don't see a ideal Islamic setup anywhere in the world nor in Pakistan but still it is better than going all out towards denying the verses of the Qur'an and the hadiths and then call ourselves muslims. If Islamic ideology is believed to be a borrowed one so is the secular ideology.

Secularism is impossible for a muslim community without denying many of the commandments of Islam. I agree that it has some healthy effects of people being less extreme but we need to instill tolerance and equality in our societies by working for it. Islam is not strict to the extent people have made it these days. They have built a wall around themselves and then blamed it on the religion. If you don't like the mullahs of Pakistan (nor do I most of the them anyways) then come forward individually and don't rely on them to tell you right from wrong and make oneself capable of it without drowning someone because of his ignorance. We are to drown ourselves first then of our ignorance applying the same reasoning.

When you see where will secularism lead us to immoral societies, prostitution, homosexuality, more crime, rapes, underage preganacies, lesbianism, drugs, women objectified, alcohol openly, more mujras (especially in pakistan), same sex marriages, and marriages with animals etc etc and most importantly leaving Islam on a back burner. Any other religion in this world at the moment is possible to secularize but not possible for Islam and never will be. Either you have to choose the religion and work on maturing your society to understand the religion correctly or just leave it once for all and we begged Allah not to make Pakistan for Islam and muslims (the main reason) and screw it up as we nearly have.

Who says secularists are not choosing Islam? In secularism one is free to choose his own religion!

How about when Allah says in the Qur'an that it is your duty to implement (Nifaz) the Islamic way on the land. How can you be Muslim and then just ignore the commandments that doesn't suit your ideology? Either you believe it in all not cherry pick the ones one likes.

Yeah, the Islamic way is implemented. Its working quite well in Saudi Arabia, ISIS, Iran etc :D

The point was you cannot mix Islam and secularism and i have made my point.
