Why Kerala has no beef with beef.

cows are livestock, raised for human consumption, not classified as wild life.

If they're going to ban beef to save wildlife, might as well ban consumption of vegetables to protect the forests.

Kerala unlike other states is the most literate state in India, and ergo a normal mallu knows how to keep religion out of business.
This is a state where a temple's festival begins from a mosque (Shabarimala temple, Google it for yourself!). So the hindu, Muslim, holy cow debate would not help here. As they say no beef over beef!!

(I feel like an outcast now, it's so hard to find a pure vegetarian mallu )

I think the only solution is to cross breed a cow with wild bison and distribute freely so that all can be happy.

I think you were right when you said that it was upto the state government to implement this law. In short neither is BJP gonna open an account in Kerala nor will their govt ever be able to implement it in Kerala.

Because constitution allows every religious practice and is not based on religion.

I care what Hinduism says and to adhere Hinduism or Christianity or Islam you should follow secularism. And In Hinduism it is made compulsory not eat beef. And in other religious If made compulsory to eat beef then it is a conflict but it is not.
So other religions should also adhere the secularism and respect Hindu belief.
