Why Kerala has no beef with beef.

Who is forcing hindus to eat beef? Also, maybe some hindu is not a good hindu and he doesn't follow all of hinduism. The state will now force everyone to become a good practising hindu ?

yes we support it. And majority does it too. Beef is not a good economic choice. If you want to know the reason go to other thread where we have already provided links related with agriculture, indian life style, scientific evidences.

Kerala unlike other states is the most literate state in India, and ergo a normal mallu knows how to keep religion out of business.
This is a state where a temple's festival begins from a mosque (Shabarimala temple, Google it for yourself!). So the hindu, Muslim, holy cow debate would not help here. As they say no beef over beef!!

(I feel like an outcast now, it's so hard to find a pure vegetarian mallu )

In my state, beef is cheaper than pork. I used to eat beef daily when I was a kid. I hardly eat beef nowdays. Pork is more popular here but I like chicken.

I was in darjeeling, they used to eat goru , and some times yak's meat but phakchapa ( pork,how you pronounce it) is more famous than beef , I agree.

Just joking guys. This is a good article. It forces Indians to look at the cow slaughter ban more critically as at least one state stands against it.

Just because of Taste, it is not justified to break the laws of secularism and harm the feelings of Hindus. The Hindus who eat beef, they are the target of intellectual subversion only. In that case, the basic laws of secularism are getting damaged through fake liberal values and fake education of calling beef eaters liberal, more literate and tolerant. This should be controlled.

Because it gives cow dung u use daily for manure and u drink milk, and u use bull for transport and ploughing ur field.

Even my mom is vegie..none of our grand parents eat beef. But the new generation.

Also regarding the religion, there are lots of references where old people even the higher caste eat meat, for. e.g Kalidasa books.
