Why Kerala has no beef with beef.

Well askm some known person about when the God himself killed cow. And do not adhere whatever LORD KRISHNA said. He himself said in Gita to Arjuna after gita upadesham that USE YOUR LOGIC and think and do karma if you conclude what I said is right.

Kerala imports most of its food from the neighboring states. It has no land to grow its own rice and other needs, let alone its beef. Even that land has been poisoned with the use of pesticides and other poison sprays. If your land was so fertile you should have been able to grow all your foods without fertilizers and been the highest producer of food per acre globally which you are not.

Nope. You guys are not too clever or cunning. Just plain stupid. Land which has been constructed on is degraded land and cannot go back to agriculture. Given your population pressure and the builtup, agriculture is practically over as far as Kerala is concerned. If what @SpArK says is true, agriculture is dying there even now. So that option wont be available for you and given that your state is not industrially developed nor agriculturally sustainable, hope Arab oil prices zoom sky high again to keep pushing Kerala economy.

It is true. We or at least I can afford not to eat it. I do not eat regularly ...
very rare.. When we buy in kerala we make sure that it is a buffalo not a cow.

The problem where somebody else dictating us what to eat or not. Tomorrow the Same people will tell what to wear or not . Where to go or not. What to read and not. I born a free man in a free country. THE KARMA BHUMI as per my belief. I want it as it is

I think you were right when you said that it was upto the state government to implement this law. In short neither is BJP gonna open an account in Kerala nor will their govt ever be able to implement it in Kerala.

When BJP could win in J&K,Kerala is no big deal.

I have been to munar, kochi, trichur and the land is very fertile for rice and coconut cultivation. Even tea and coffee, some spices, Bananas are good, but red due to iron and potassium . If you want to get some vegetables they can also be grown.. any ways food is distributed in India from one state to other. Enjoy that

They are eating because of cultural osmosis, irrespective of knowing that it does not suit them in such warm place. Come on man!

oh come on, you know what's really really harmful ? alcohol and cigarettes, shall we ban those next ?

I fear this ban on a certain meat might be the first step to us falling to saudi/dprk level personal freedoms wise... the government should not decide what we are allowed to eat, who we are allowed to marry, where we can and can not buy property and many other things.. and especially not if these bans are religiously motivated !

btw, I consume "beef" maybe once a month or so, if at all.. no biggie diet wise for me, but these bans are bad for freedom.

also, there is nothing in "dharma" where an all powerful god prohibits us from doing anything... you guys have a wrong idea of "hinduism" in fact, you guys have no idea about it at all.. but keep making temple trusts as a business partners LOL

The ban on beef comes due to health issues and Religious. If Muslims want we can go for the ban too. Muslims should raise their voice as it is haram in their religion
