I'm a lawyer from a pretty well off family ... I work in a firm whose president is a former AG ... I'm 26 and I have a good social circle and we wear shalwar kameez (with waist coat or jackets) or a suite on formal occasions ...

Only some morons would consider it inferior. I love wearing Shalwar Kamiz. Some of my most expensive clothes are Shalwar Kamiz. The elegance and class of shalwar kamiz is simply unmatched.

Its not considered low most elites in govt services consider wearing shalwar kamiz .. op has a wrong perception of things .. the dress is loved by almost every one

Actually it suit everyone but one thing is sure, there is no comparison to the comfort of shlwar kameez made from good Cotton fabric.

I think we need to use nice trouser type or pajama instead of shalwar cuz it can save lot of clothing for whole country.

Our national dress is more comfortable and convenient to wear. if it can be redesigned professionally definitely it will add more value.

In overseas many ladies like our kameez and even some people also like to wear kameez.
