Why is Pakistan afraid of international perception when testing its ICBM?

If we go for ICBM then we need to have a totally b@dass powerful and cool sounding name for our next missile enough naming them after afghans lol desi missiles likes of "agni" and "shaheen" sound weak imo the amercians gives all their weapons such cool names all their drones,fighter jets,missiles such cool names predators, tomahawks,patriots,minuteman,hellfires etc etc sounds like some superhero names even haha we should also have something similar that sounds more cool,intimidating and powerful .

How about 'Genghis Khan' name?

I like the naming it "indus" lifeline and mighty river of pakistan and peaceful most of the time but you don't wanna be caught it's in it's flood when nature shows it's wrath similar to pakistan and it's missile programme

All are names. Ghauri is some Afghan King that defeated Prithvi Raj hence there is a under handed meaning that the Ghauri missile beats Indian Prithvi missile.

True but before that Prithvi Raj defeated Ghauri twice, so does that mean Ghauri would let Prithvi hit its' target and only then would work?

By the way on the side note wasn't there a controversy about naming Pakistani Missli 'Ghauri'. I heard that Karzai regime delivered a complaint to Pakistan for naming its lethal ballistic missiles after Afghan kings and rulers, arguing that their names should be bracketed with academic, cultural and peace-promoting institutions, not with tools of destruction and killing.

But the point is why Pakistan will test and take unnecessary tension by testing 5000 KM missile when it can target its only enemey with some 1000km missile...I beleive you should give credit to pakistan military planner in this regard...

You Ghauri and Shaheen seem to have ranges that can hot most of India, why do you need any other missile.

India needs A5 because we need to cover whole of China.

They fought twice, Raj won the first one due to his massive army that outnumbered M. Ghori's by like 4:1 including numerous war elephants

In the second Muhammad Ghori (rahimullah) crushed him even though he had a far larger army
