What's new

Why is KSA hosting Pak, Turk and Egypt leaders in same week?

It's called business. When war comes, a country will try to sell as many of its arms to the other countries to make a quick buck. Nothing to do with friendship. There are some exceptions.
And what are you talking about? The current government of Iran has barely helped Pakistanis in the wars against India. It was Reza Shah Pahlavi who was one aiding us during the wars against India and last time I checked, he was driven away by crackpot clerics.
First of all his name was MohammadReza Shah, not Reza Shah. Reza Shah was ruling Iran after WWI !!!
Second, There has been no payments, hence no "selling" in reality. So, obviously it was not for business. Iran also politically supported Pakistan.
Third, then I would say that they have chosen a better policy after knowing Pakistanis are "Namak Nashnas". ;)

Sorry, but we will surpass everyone else by far once the 'peace process' is settled, and we get to join the Schengen and EFTA :chilli:

My concern is the Arab world but the GCC alone has almost an 2 trillion dollar big GDP (nominal). Our GDP (nominal) per capita is bigger than the average in EU and far bigger than any Muslim country.
We are more than fine on this front.
The Arab world has enormous potential on all fronts. The current unrest cannot go on for ever. If it brings necessary changes on the long run then even better.

Hey! Our nominal GDP is bigger than yours xD

Minimally.:coffee: You also got 2.5 times more people! On the other hand KSA is one of the richest countries in terms of natural resources. There are positives and negatives as always.

Anyway don't forget that GCC is basically one state on almost every front. Most Arabians consider the Arabian Peninsula as 1 unit.

In any case GCC/Turkish cooperation is welcome. I am sure that King Salman and Erdogan had/will have some interesting discussions.

How did the oil price changes effect your economy so far?

Will it change anything if I forget about the Mohammad? Of course not because I stated that it was the Reza Shah who was overthrown by the clerics. Obviously not the first one.

Second, There has been no payments, hence no "selling" in reality. So, obviously it was not for business.

Note, I mentioned there are exceptions. Iran was obviously probably looking to profit out of a friendly relationship with Pakistan another way.

Third, then I would say that they have chosen a better policy after knowing Pakistanis are "Namak Nashnas"

It's nothing like they've simply abandoned the Pakistanis for India.

A lot of the mess need to be cleaned ,as you know there's some kids around us can't stop playing dangerous games .lol
We tried to ignore them ,but they may hurt themselves or hurt others .

I cannot post any links.

Just search on "Saudi Arabian non-oil sector to sustain robust growth in 2015". Goes for all the GCC really.

KSA is the biggest surplus nation alongside China. The GCC has sovereign wealth funds that are good for 2 trillion US dollars alone. Foreign investments/assets are probably double that number but nobody really knows how much the GCC has invested. I have seen numbers as high as 10 trillion US dollars.

SOVEREIGN WEALTH FUNDS RISE AND SHINE IN THE GCC (WEALTH WORTH OVER USD 2 TRILLION)

It might be far fetched but i wouldnt be surprised if he accepts Sisi as legitime president of Egypt or at least tone down his rants against them after this meeting.
No, he won't.

He got angry when journalist asked him if he is going to meet with Sisi.

Why ???? I mean, everybody knows, he is Islamist. So, no surprise about anything.

I think they want to discuss a joint strategy to deal with ISIS and MB. The problem is Turkey and Egypt have opposing views regarding both organizations.
