If corruption kay master PMLN can put pictures of Quaid-e-Azam next to their candidates, then why can't others put picture of Pakistan's first patriot General next to their candidates?

On topic: RS's pic means nothing, it just shows that a certain political party agrees with clean up going on in the country.

Quaid is used by nearly every party. After all, PML stands for pakistan muslim league (but Nawaz chapter). Secondly, there is difference between patriot and founding fathers.

Yes Raheel is awesome, but first patriot? Yeah all previous 10+ generals were not patriot.

Ayub was a good general. Yes he overthrew govt, but he also put forth 5 year plan which South Korea borrowed from us and look where they're now.

Let's not forget it was Nawaz who made him COAS. There were two people ahead of him. It wasn't an accident, nawaz did not want a political COAS.

Also there was a lack of media pre 2000. There were generals who kept India off us, help us take 1/3 of Kashmir (otherwise we would have none today) and many other things. They were equally patriot.

Yes raheel is patriot, but let's not forget the generals who moved to Pakistan and served the nation against odds.

General Raheel Sharif is more popular then Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif.... Imran Khan is showing Respect to the General by adding his picture in the Banner. No Big impact on Election by adding his picture.

If truck art wala guys paint Gen Raheel's pics on truck so it doesnt mean they are provoking a controversy but truck art shows the most popular sentiments of that era. Same is case of PTI and any other political party who would like to use Gen Raheel's pics on their posters as way to attract voters (which with me is a cheap publicity stunt even as i am a big PTI supporter) as he is THE GUY these days and such minnow moves are not putting even a Nano size mark on Gen Raheel's Respect and Honor. U may soon see other parties following the suite.

Yes, the chief has now become god. All chiefs of army staff are gods. They are above everything. They are superhuman and should be worshipped. Anyone disagreeing is a traitor and needs to be destroyed at any cost.

That is not true. You only need to see what has been accomplished in the last few months to realize what Gen. Sahreef is capable of and what he has been able to do for Pakistanis.

Every person I met, even people from Waziristan, are praising that man and hoping for his extension.

There is strategic shift in army's doctrine, that is for sure. And General Raheel deserves full credit for that hands down.
He is the finest General (Not the political General) the army has seen so far.
However, has he been able to turn the army upside down? i dont think so!
Army still maintains a preference to which evils to curb and which not to. Only those elements are being eliminated, which are no longer needed by them for time being (Some time in future you may see another Musharraf rising up and joining hands with MQM,PPP or draw elements from pmln ppp, pti to make his brand new q league.). LeJ is being curbed because jesh e Muhammad no longer features in army's doctrine but lashkar e taiba is allowed to roam freely because they may come handy. Likewise there is a seminary which lies next door to ISI HQ.You know it.Would love to see if the fitnah running that seminary gets nabbed by the boys next door.

I disagree. I've never ever approved of an Army General in my life. Ever. First time someone gets my vote of approval is Raheel. I have faith in him.
