Why don't arabs create a arab foreign legion?

in Tunisia we don't need a Foreign legion ( even the idea is good ) because the first units of the army where part of Army of Africa ( french army ) and probably from the soldier that transformed from french army to tunisian army they were soldier from 4e RTT (4e régiment de tirailleurs tunisiens ) wish is one of the most decorated regiments of the French army in here time
Cross of the Legion of Honour (1919) -- Croix de la Légion d'honneur (1919)
1914-1918 War Cross with six palms and a bronze star
1939-1945 War Cross with four palms
War Cross for foreign operational theaters
Fourragère in the colors of the Legion of Honour with two olives: Olive cut with the colors of the Legion of Honor and war cross 1914-1918 and olive cut with the colors of the Military Medal and war cross 1939-1945
Order of Merit chérifien --- Ordre du Mérite chérifien
and Order of Glory (Tunisia) --- Ordre du Nichan Iftikhar

pic of Order of glory
so we are born warriors we don't need foreign legion .. we need ( in tunisia ) new equipments

You guys consider yourselves to be Arabs ? :o:

I thought Tunisians would consider themselves North Africans more like the descendants of Phonecians and the Carthagenian civilization !

Arabs of Middle East are good only at slitting each other's throats. Look at how they have destroyed Syria and now are after Yemen.

Somewhere, their enemy, and they know who it is, must be really laughing out loud.

lets not forget what Gulf countries are doing in Pakistan. They only consider us as tools. Parliament disagree with them they threaten and draw offensive cartoons. Great shame Pakistan assisted in slaying 10000 plus palestinians so some dirty king could live who happened to back stab syria and egypt.

.
Why would they want to fight when they can have all of lifes pleasures?

I have heard stories of UAE young princes hiring 30 prostitutes for the night.

Now you tell me if you can be bothered to climb into a tank if you could do this every night.

French Foreign legion was raised from its colonies. The Arabs are 400 million, why would they need foreigners to defend them? Pakistan is a strategic ally as well as Turkey and to some extent Iran through Islam.
They have already agreed on an embryo rapid deployment force of 35 000 that is being readied.

.
I wish they do, It will be a blessing for Pakistan as long as those joining the legion agree to forgo their old nationalities. I really hope it happens that way.

Bahrain hires it's national guards from outside of Bahrain so the Bahrain national guards are a sort of "Bahrain foreign legion" although unofficial.
The idea in OP is not that bad at all but the problem is that KSA neither gives citizenship to "Ajamis" nor allow them to marry an Arab girl. If they want to make a foreign legion their policies regarding non Saudi citizens have to change.

as i recall one of gadafi's son was saved and escorted to another country by a australian merc which he was crticised in the media for later ,well a merc stayed with him till he was in a safe country so not a total loss i would say
The Kaddaff's arab legion were TOUAREGS from Mali, Niger and Tchad...Mercenaries were hired during the Nato onslaught..

you mean this ( though source is wikipedia - nato propaganda - Tinariwen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia )...
In 1980, Libyan ruler Muammar al-Gaddafi put out a decree inviting all young Tuareg men who were living illegally in Libya to receive full military training. Gaddafi dreamed of forming a Saharan regiment, made up of the best young Tuareg fighters, to further his territorial ambitions in Chad, Niger, and elsewhere. Ag Alhabib and his bandmates answered the call and received nine months of training. They answered a similar call in 1985, this time by leaders of the Tuareg rebel movement in Libya, and met fellow musicians Keddou Ag Ossade, Mohammed Ag Itlale (aka "Japonais"), Sweiloum, Abouhadid, and Abdallah Ag Alhousseyni. All sang and played guitar in various permutations. The musicians joined together in a collective (now known as Tinariwen) in order to create songs about the issues facing the Tuareg people, built a makeshift studio, and vowed to record music for free for anyone who supplied a blank cassette tape. The resulting homemade cassettes were traded widely throughout the Sahara region.

this was only part of libya's global transnational plans... another component was the "green march"... from ( San Francisco Bay View » Gerald Perreira, chair of Black Consciousness Movement Guyana, refused entry to Jamaica for Million Man March Commemoration )...
Gerald Perreira lived in Libya for many years, served in the Green March, an international battalion for the defense of the Libyan revolution, and was an executive member of the World Mathaba based in Tripoli.

you should read about "world mathaba" in google-books, though those sources i found are nato propaganda.

Arab population is not 400 millions ...very diverse and tribal..that is the reason behind their unability to create a sort of an ARAB nato...The Arab league is good example of the Arab cacophony.
