Another wanna be liberal burger kid.

Its these types who have given "liberals" such a bad name in Pakistan. Im sure this woman doesnt even know that Allama Iqbal was an ethnic Kashmiri.

For me this sums it all up (as reported by Indian media themselves)

"Like rest of the subcontinent, Srinagar shut down for the semifinal clash between India and Pakistan. But, the team they cheered for wasn't the Men in Blue. In hotels and homes, at roadside stalls and in Srinagar's downtown sprawl, in villages and small mohallas, Kashmir was rooting for Shahid Afridi and his team.

This support for Pakistan appeared to cut across caste and class, united mainstream politicians and separatists, and brought together prosperous businessmen who live half the year in Delhi and the shikarawalas who ceaselessly circle the Dal Lake." (article then goes on to bs about how much Kashmiris love Indian plurality but this part gives it all away).

This lady doesn't seem to know what she's really talking about. And you Indians know that very well too.

.
The college where I studied in used to have special quota for kashmiris, so every batch that passed out had a lot kashmiris, many of whom were my friends and still 're. But then I guess you don't have much contact with Indian Kashmiris.
yes the same universities which penalised students for supporting Pakistan... short memory issues.... and my contact with Kashmiris is not limited by a LOC

I.Muslim majority region -- they love Muslim Majority regions.
2.Most of their Water source goes through it
3.Strategically important region--- Boarders with Tibet ( administered by China) --- we all know their love for China.
4.Public perception created by which they believe Pakistan is incomplete without Kash--mir .
5.Finally because of @Armstrong

1. Yes. Kashmir is religiously, culturally, linguistically and ethnically closer to the Pakistan provinces of Punjab and Pakhtunkhwa than India as a whole. Their hearts are also aligned towards us; it's almost like a perfect love story :azn:
