Military exchanges between Russia and Vietnam are normal. Vietnam is also a sukhoi consumer. The real problem in Vietnam is the old power in South Vietnam. When Vietnam looks to the United States to balance China's influence, we all know which political power the Americans will support.

Sooner or later, the Vietcong would run into big trouble for failing to clean up South Vietnamese politics. The confrontation between North and South Vietnam could resume.

During the Cold War, the US used islam hatred against communism to convince the people, that's how they manage to use Islam to beat the USSR.

Compared to the various wars in China-Vietnam wars and the US-Vietnam war, the amount japs killed are pretty small, the Viet Minh also did not blame the japs much because the japs loss to Viet Minh independence.

In Southeast Asia Vietnam is the biggest weapon importer for Russia arms seller. Indonesia has bigger economy however they buy more from the US or Korea. of course no comparison to India and other in Middle East.
