The lesson I learned in US is that they have the audacity to kill millions without a blink eye to still claim they are champion of human rights. like they slaughtered millions of civilians in vietnam, iraq, afghanistan etc, yet still got tons of 3 world people admiring them including you kind. comparing to them, we did nothing, and afraid of nothing.

No...not really. The influences of others need to be balanced for sovereignty today. In this world now...only US is independent. And China is reaching there. Others have to sacrifice. No matter how small. That's why BD can't get dependent on a single country. US buys a lot from us. Not cancelling Sonadia would've meant that we are serving Chinese interest instead of ours own. Your leadership do understand it. That's why you still see BD and China cooperating in many fields. But they also know that BD won't be subservient like Myanmar. Hence they prefer them in situations like this. BD leadership is also smart enough not to damage ties with China over it.

After Bangladesh backstabbed us on Sonadia port, on the orders of the USA and India, the Chinese government realized that Bangladesh was not reliable in comparison to Myanmar.
Imagine if Pakistan suddenly told us to get out of Gwadar port.
I don't support Myanmar, I think they are Western lackeys. But it seems Bangladesh is even more so than even Suu Kyi herself.
And all three (China+Pakistan+India) now share something else in common, with regard to Bangladesh.
