Who Will Win Asia's Fifth-Generation Fighter Race?

So to you which commissioned first in China ? Su-35 or J-20
I think Su-35 for the gap before J-20 could be deployed.

Why do you think Su-35 was meant for "gaps"? There are a host of reasons the PLAAF purchased the Su-35 and the continued production/development of J-11D/J-16 dispels that rationale.

You may misunderstand, my previous post imply that is the indication that J-20 still not in full performance until at least mid-2017

Any reason why 2017 comes to mind, or was that arbitrarily chosen?

.
You continuett insult me, and my country, It's so bad. @Horus

Let me tell you, why I said Scramjet is ramjet. It's just like destroyer is still a ship.
Boo! What CRAPY logic you have,:hitwall:, ramjet will not go hypersonic, scramjet can go hypersonic, by your logic ship can't call ship as destroyer and capability as destroyer you dickhead veit

As my mind read from China decision.

So based on your recent posts, you argued that everything is ready, including engines for J-20 to start production.
My idea, it isn't. There's completed work, maybe the design of exterior.

Japan has money, technology... and this adds good experience to Japan.
So Japan-owned stealth fighter project would move forward steadily.

MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) will be the regional production site for the F-35 Program in Asia-Pacific Region. So complementary role is expected.

There's aerospace facility of MHI in Vietnam ( MHIVA ). The first facility in Asia.
It's possible to see one day Japan would provide Vietnam the stealth-fighter, competing to Russian counterpart.

What a great faith in Japan!
  • Japan has money?
can we spend 30 sec. to take a look at the fiscal condition of the government of Japan?

If Japan is a Japan Inc., it would be bankrupted already.

The red-curve refers to government expenditure, blue-curve refers to tax income. The ever-large gap between
expenditure and revenue must be a great support to your argument that "Japan has money". Right?

Also take a look at the rocket-climbing debt outstanding of the Japan Government!

Japan owes money vs. Japan has money, which is the right interpretation?

  • Japan has technology?
Since the F2 production line ceased in 2011, there has been almost five years that Japan doesn't make any new fighters. Which means not only the workers at the final assembly, but also workers from multiple upstream suppliers, failed to get any chance to maintain their skills. I'm not sure if you agreed with the following view: Skill is acquired through repeated practice, and practice makes perfect.

Hahaha, you should know the difference between the govt and corporate.
Unlike our defence industry ( China, Vietnam), in SK Japan, US ,.. the defence industry utilises the private corporates.
When anyone still buy Mitsubishi Aircon, automobile, home appliances, elevators, commercial aircraft parts... they still have money and their skill trained.

It's eventually government to pay all the bills relevant to the military. The private corporate is running for profit, not running for charities.

Great to hear that expertise gained from elevators could be put for advanced stealth fighters as well. What a great idea! I guess Kobyy Brant, given his great basketball skills, must be qualified for winning Football World Cup as well.

Sorry, I forget China never made a stealth fighter before.

Chinese are simply giving cuts and shapes to give impression that their planes are fifth generation. They do not have fith generation design, they do not have powerful fifth generation aircraft engines nor RADAR nor avionics nor weaponry. They are like other chinese stuff. Cheap copies of renowned stuffs and nothing else. there is a bloody hell of a difference in performance.
...seems like that ..
