If you haven't owned dogs or been around them, you don't know shit about them. A few youtube videos don't prove anything when you loads of other videos that disprove everything you stand for. Everything from dogs saving kids from drowning to dogs dragging wounded soldiers out of harm's way in wars, to dogs rescuing wounded in rubble in natural disasters. I have had 1 Spitz, 1 spitz-pariah mix, 1 GSD, three pariah dogs, and now a Lab-collie. in my extended family, there are another 2 huskies, 3 Chih's, 2 pure breed labs, and 2 more pariah dogs. Being around these many dogs, I think I know a thing or two about dogs. Even with strays, they seem to be aggressive towards generally the ***-hats, somehow they seem to sniff out the douche bags and want to keep them away from their area. Incidences of stray dogs attacking little kids that do get reported are truly regrettable, but so is the parenting in this incidence.

As far as your OP, I think I categorically responded to who is anti-national, as far as human misery, Humans have brains, they can communicate, they can take care of themselves. Mute animals who cannot take care of themselves deserve all the love and affection we are capable of. If anyone indulges in animal cruelty in front of me, I will, I repeat I will pay it back ten times to them as they deserve as I have done all my life and I really have.

There are more than a billion people in the country, if a fraction of them adopt, neuter, and provide good living conditions for dogs and other stray animals that will be a harmonious society.

I have nothing against cats but haven't owned any, my dad seems to like them. Feel free to adopt as many as you can, more power to you.

300,000+ farmers committing suicide just between ten years, a person collecting milk spilled from a tanker while upstream some stray dogs are licking the same milk, a woman dying of hunger in a train, students committing suicide, people remaining blind not because they can't be cured medically but because they have no money to pay to the hospital etc etc are not random incidents but very avoidable tragedies. You cannot just dismiss deaths of non-criminal people. You should be wishing death on actual criminals like honor killer khap panchayats and also those I described in the OP.

You are speaking from the POV of a semi-privileged middle class person. You are not the average Bihar farmer who earns 3000 per month and also is indebted ( with interest on the loan ). You are not surrounded immediately by a socio-economic atmosphere of high-interest-based loans, loan agent harassment and an expectation for you to commit suicide in case you are not able to repay the loan. Of course you too may have purchased a car or something else for which you may have taken loan and are repaying that off by being a wage slave ( at least that is the situation of a lot of the middle class, be it in India or elsewhere ). You should watch Kaun Banega Crorepati and see the stories of the contestants. So many of them, most of them really, would never have seen the prize money of 100,000 rupees or 320,000 rupees in their life. You should look at their living conditions. Their penury. I myself have never seen disposable big money except for one time when a big Indian IT services company offered me 125,000 rupees to teach them the basic computer operating system software that I had written.

Most of them as most sufferings are socio-economic ones. In the USSR murder was considered as a capitalist crime as mostly murders in traditional societies are socio-economic crimes.

Your taxes are being used to spend of wasteful projects like that Vallabhbhai Patel statue ( the world's tallest statue ), on the proposed construction of a new parliament building, on purchase of two aircraft equivalent to the American Air Force Ones, on making India the world's second largest importer of armaments etc etc.
