• Germans were being taxed like 80-90% of their salary whic was being sent to UK/French for war damages from WW1, and people were fed up with lack of food and steady jobs
• Under the Hitler regime the local Industrial and economic sector rose to prominence
• WW1 Germany partner were Turkish who were considered (None European) by most Europeans, as they had regions in Middle east
  
• WW2 germany had partners who were Italian (black hair , not super white) , and then they also had dealing with Japan , again black hair , and not your traditional white

I think the percentage of people of German decent in the US in 1941 was close to 30%. So I think the people demonizing Germany may have some insights on Germany...right now they are about 19%.

Since they were such a high percentage of the population they could not be rounded up like the Japanese. But of course worries of spying by sympathizers was a huge problem.

Yep. The mayor should've been a lot more prepared with riot and local police. No-brainer that it was going to get violent and the way the fighting and clashing took place for a long time before the police got involved was unbelievable.

It would be one thing if it was a statue of John Wilkes Booth or some personality who's affiliation with US history is criminal or nefarious, that would be understandable. But Robert E. Lee who was quite the military general and involved in one of the most historical events of this country is completely different. New Orleans already removed his statue which I think was an absolute disgrace and a shame because the city decided it was a "public nuisance." Even removing the statue of Jefferson Davis was a sham. So what if he was the 'self proclaimed' or specially appointed president of the Confederate States? This was a major time in US history and it's not like these were statues of Hitler or Stalin. Priorities are messed up all around.

I totally agree with you. Considering we are both Northerners...even WE respect the Southern leaders. I think it's ridiculous having the statues removed. Next up will be removing stuff like portraits from museums.

As to the rally itself, everything looks like a deliberate mess the way it all went down.

In order to enter into the designated rally area the attendees had to pass through a narrow passage right through the counter-protesters and the police for some reason did not barricade this passage point which they should have despite all of the manpower they had on standby. Something just doesn't seem right.

Obviously one side came to legally assemble at a rally they had a permit for, but the counter protesters, particularly the AntiFa and BLM came with the intention of causing problems.

At one point the National guard declared the rally an unlawful assembly and pushed all of the Alt-Righters into the counter-protesters which lead to all of those brawls.

I'm not going to argue with that. They received the permit. They had the right to be there.
If the protesters didn't like that then they can take it up with the First Amendment.

However things got out of hand and the riot squad had to be sent in. No use crying to the cops about it and demand that you should be able to stay and fight it out. The only thing he accomplished with that stunt is to have a hard time getting a permit anywhere ever again.

This is how the next march permit process will go in a future town/city:

Well yes, I mean that's pretty much how Hitler's rise to become the Chancellor of Germany began. Being a solider in the trenches of WWI he felt strongly that the treaty of Versailles was a disaster for Germany and he despised it very much. He made it his goal to rise to power and eradicate it by consolidating his power, and France and Britain were the main and closest culprits of that treaty. But that still doesn't negate the other ambitions he had for the 3rd Reich and beyond that. Invading Poland was more of a military flanking to taking France and then Britain but he did proceed to take Denmark and Norway and immediately declared the start of the greater Germanic Reich of racially pure nations of Europe under the rule of Germany. All the Dutch, Scandinavians, Belgian/Flemish would all be part of this pure Aryan race of nations ruled by him. The Japanese were seen by Hitler as strong and opposing Britain and the US and even Russia. He only cared about forming an alliance with them to benefit him but he certainly wasn't going to make them anything close to part of his pure race! Guaranteed!

They did attack Africa, February 1941 German troops deployed to Libya. If you visit El Alamein in Egypt, it is incredible to see the remains of Rommel's battle with Montgomery. Hitler's ambitions extended well beyond Europe. Shortly after that he invaded the Balkans. Immediately after he invaded Yugoslavia and Greece. His ambitions were well beyond France & Britain.
