dude, vote counting during election is easy, as the votes are right infront of you, when an ET does its works, it firsts ivestigates which takes time, then it takes out old records, which also takes times as the EC has tucked everyything away in a safe place, then if recounting is required it takes even more time, and doing all these things together along with identification of each vote requires time and patience.Who has asked them not to request for additional staff and resources if they are over-worked? Did they make any such request? If yes, was their request denied by the Election commission? And if yes, why?
The law requires disputes to be settled within 120 days. You think 120 days are less? I am sure you have watched the Election transmissions right? OK, so how long does it take from casting the votes, to counting and make an announcement? 120 days? 12 days? or 1.2 days? And if your answer is 1.2 days, since most if not all results come by that time, then why it took for the Election Tribunals to do the re-counting of select (lets assume 25% of the total seats) constituencies so long? Please think about it a little before replying.
even i accept rigging has happened, but do you seriously believe that the whole country including the Army, the EC and the SC joined hands to make NS win and IK loose?
