While Imran is in container enjoying music Nawaz and Shahbaz reach out to flood victims

You really have no idea about the situation in Pakistan.
Imran Khan spent 14 months begging for an inquiry in only 4 constituencies
. His perfectly reasonable demands were ignored and whatever investigation they were supposed to make was delayed. No proper investigation would have ever happened if Imran Khan didn't put some political pressure, which he tried to do with his march.

There were talks about a biometric system or something fancy like that but ofcourse they couldn't do anything about it. Someone conveniently even got rid of the magnetic ink system for identifying votes.
the election tribunals are doing their jobs, but unfortunately you wont be trusting any institution until IK becomes PM, right? so you can sit for a year but still IK can never get the resignation, and no you can call the Army all you want, but they are not gonna come.

how about we use Judges from the Indian Supreme Court, can they be influenced by NS? of course they can :p
how about a team from UN? nah they are fake too

. .
I remember, CM Punjab Showbaz Sharif standing like this with flood victims back in 2008-09. He's been in power in Punjab since, and he's been standing like this with flood victims every year since then.

He did 7 consecutive photo sessions with flood victims, but he didn't do anything for flood management or drainage system in Punjab during these 7 long years. That is his performance.

' Begging the Army and Nawaz Sharif' don't go together.
Really? Are you aware of Gen. Jilani, and General Zia and their patron-ship for Nawaz? Nawaz was brought into the whole game by the Army to counter PPP in Punjab. As far as his begging is concerned, he was not begging that is why he signed a deal with Musharraf and flew to Jeddah? If he was that brave, why he did not face the consequences instead of escaping while leaving Hashmi, Saad, Asif etc. behind in the jail? Either you are too young, or too oblivious of Nawaz's past. People would question why Shahbaz/Nisar met with General Kiyani before the elections when those meetings would be kept in secret. When revealed on media, Nisar did not deny the reports, instead cried why those reports were leaked out to the media. Why did he complained? If those were normal meetings, then why did they meet the COAS in the shroud of secrecy?

A flashback from the past - Nawaz Sharif with his political father Gen. (and Governor Punjab) Ghulam Jilani Khan.

the election tribunals are doing their jobs...
Unfortunately the Election Tribunals are not doing their job as they should be. There is a stipulated time period of 4 months (120 days) in which disputed cases need to be resolved by the election tribunals, and the election tribunals failed to resolve the cases in stipulated time frame. Justice delayed is justice denied. If these cases were resolved in 120 days, as per constitutional guideline, Imran did not have to go for the protest in the first place. The whole thing started out with four disputed constituencies, which remain unresolved till this day (after one year and several months). IK gave the tribunals not 120 days, but 480 days to let them work but to no avail.

PMLN is expert at winning the uninformed publics' hearts.
Imran Khan announced a while ago that he will be visiting the flood victims tomorrow and he also told his supporters to come and help in any way they can. He's not "sitting in his container enjoying music", he's trying to save Pakistan from the self-destructive cycle of corrupt democracy followed by Army rule and then another rigged democracy.
.

He will be "visiting" the flood victims when the Floods have passed and in many places, water is receding. There were about 5 intense days of rainfall and flooding where he could've done "something" but today he announced that. Primarily because not a lot of people come to his protest anymore.
He'll use these floods as a Face Saving event to END his already very failed protests. Watch this. Its very shameful actually.

The only thing he needs to do, is to save Pakistan from himself. Over 500 Billion loss is what he's given as an independence gift to Pakistan. He does this for three more months, your country will go bankrupt. Isn't that sad that some people area allowing a few thousand to damage a country of 200 Million people and then term the damage as "saving the country" when the loss they've inflicted is more than some WARS....?
How does it make sense to tell others NS did 6 Billion worth of corruption when you yourself have cost Pakistan 500+ Billions worth of loss? Looking at the number, I'd consider staying with 6 Billion (if that's remotely true, which it is NOT).

what does one expect from Imran Khan visiting flood hit areas. Except disruption of regular relief efforts ?

So what are you proposing? Wrap up the system and just announce that starting today, IK will be the NEW Prime Minister and Mullah will be the president? And combine together, they'll become the chief justice too and the police and the military? This sounds like the next sequel of "The Avengers" only with two characters!!!
Come back with something solid that actually tells people how the issues can be solved. Just keep repeating "NS is corrupted", "ARMY rigged the elections", "CJ took the money", "this guy on PDF's dog ate my vote and rigged the elections".....is getting old and won't fly. You guys have no agenda, no proofs of anything but yet, there are these long speeches in between the time when the dancers get tired in that protests and want a break. Never seen any protest that failed miserably, ended its "leaders" future in politics and the other one's in religion, and caused huge damage to the country worth over 500 Billion Dollars. Without producing ONE dollar worth of benefit to the country. Just lengthy verbally abusive speeches and wasted airtime, at the end, they went back to the SAME government they swore not to negotiate with !

Did they reach out to the families of Model town victims?
Sorry but they ain't doing a favor, it's their job which they realize once in a blue moon.

I agree with your statement (the bold part). I hope they reach out to Model Town and Islamabad Massacre victims too, who got killed due to their "leaders" violent protests. RIP to the dead. May no one ever listen to politicians who get innocents killed for their politics and never even go to their funerals.

What a joke of a thread. Do we need to remind the readers that it is the incompetency of Nawaz and Shahbaz who even though in power for over 5 years now (Shahbaz) and now his brother in center for more than a year have failed to do anything about this.
The shame is on them.

dude, you have flooded the Election tribunals with the disputed elections, they are working on daily basis, and besides i think the decided the 4 constituencies already, either make more tribunals or increase their times, i for one say that IK should accept the Judicial Commission and let the country be, whats your POV on this?

Who has asked them not to request for additional staff and resources if they are over-worked? Did they make any such request? If yes, was their request denied by the Election commission? And if yes, why?

The law requires disputes to be settled within 120 days. You think 120 days are less? I am sure you have watched the Election transmissions right? OK, so how long does it take from casting the votes, to counting and make an announcement? 120 days? 12 days? or 1.2 days? And if your answer is 1.2 days, since most if not all results come by that time, then why it took for the Election Tribunals to do the re-counting of select (lets assume 25% of the total seats) constituencies so long? Please think about it a little before replying.
