WHERE IS THE MORAL OUTRAGE OF PAKISTANI NATION

.
That was a different situation. There a we had spent a small amount on a School to a brotherly nation. The amount that we spent was nothing compared to what that nation has done for us. They spent 10 times on many schools in Azad Kashmir. also, it wasn't just I but at least five other Pakistanis who tried to shame you for your pettiness. Please go back and read all the other comments by other Pakistanis against your petty comments.

It actually is very same situation, just not very convenient for you at the moment since your true self is revealed. Turkey does not need our help. Its a booming economy that is standing on its own feet. Its a "big brother" country that can do as it wants and I am sure they can understand if a technologically, economically, educationally extremely backward country cant offer them a similar return. Had it been money from your own pocket, I wouldn't mind where you open schools but it isn't which is why its a "small amount" to you. Ask the people about the small amount who cant afford to sent their children to schools.

Since the start of this thread you have been banging your head on the keyboard with caps lock on to emphasize attention and your point of view which in other threads you are opposed to, when confronted call it a "different" situation with support of 5 peoples opinion (who I still cant figure out who), whom I should listen to because they are some certified researchers in Pakistan's education and economy.

Tell me if you understand something from this phrase, "Charity starts at home".

Do me a favor, for a month or even a week, leave this life of luxury in US and go to Pakistan then go to places where children are doing nothing, hopeless and worried about their future, parents are poor and frustrated with government, education and schools are no where to be found, tell one parent or potential student that we had money to give you education but decided to offer that to a society doing well on its own because we need to maintain a generous image for the world, sorry about your luck as my fellow Pakistanis who I have so much brotherly love for. Lets see if you come back with out a bruise.

Do not derail this thread with other extrenous stuff. discuss that topic in that thread so people know what the heck you are talking about. Stay on topic.

Ha, its on topic. The topic in a nut shell is about Pakistanis failing to care for own people. Through out Pakistan's history up until now, people understand the fact that they cant rely/ trust on their governments. Then it boils down to citizens helping each other out averting disasters and hardships. Which is a good thing, only you preach one thing on a thread and another in a different one, both concepts 180' of each other.

This thread is complaining about corrupt politicians that do not hold best interests for its people, how are you different than them where your own people at home are hungry and you offer food a family eating well enough and call it generosity. Its rare enough to find men who mean what they say, in your case, "Always speak the truth, no matter what". You should change it, does not apply to you. Let me rephrase the thread title for you, "Why is there no moral outrage in Pakistan" and I wish to answer it as well. People like you are abundant hence no care for the sinking country and its people.

Shia hatred is very strong in the Punjab area, this is why LEJ is supported not just by Nawaz, but almost everybody. They just dont show it

Yes Shia hatred is very strong in Punjab and to some degree in KPK.

But we have to highlight this prejudice and expose the Political supporters of violence against Shia Community.

It is only when these lowlife Politicians have to pay a price at the Ballot Box that we will get their attention.

There is no grand conspiracy involving the army. We need to grow up as a nation and stop looking for scapegoats outside our own selves. Is the army writing school textbooks? Is the army regulating what village clerics say to their flock? Is it the army's job to arrest and prosecute gangsters and criminal gangs in the cities?

NO the above causes you cited , they are not- rather they are too busy throughout your history with coups, being well funded by foreign countries in lining their pockets, sold off to such lenders ( do they do zip about stopping drones?- nah we all know it is with their blessings), untouchable to be brought up against corruption charges and following it's own foreign policy / ji--hadi supporting agenda. When was the last time you had a head of state not having to run off to UK seeking asylum or refuge ?

You are right, and no one is denying, that the army oversteps their bounds periodically. It is also true that they bred the j-hadi snakes although, in that, they were not much different from many other countries who use questionable proxies. The mistake Pak army made was to breed the snakes in the living room instead of some faraway ranch, as other countries do, and not to enforce the "lysine contingency" ala Jurassic Park.

That does not change the fact that domestic governance is the job of the civilian administration. The army has not meddled in civilian affairs for many years now. All the things I listed can and should be done by the civilian administration. Even if the army exterminated the entire TTP, all those factors I listed will not change one whit.

Why such a strong anti Shia bias? Unless of course there is political patronage and incentive to be as anti whatever.

Tell why do think, what enables you to conclude, that these "lowlife politicians" will pay a price at the ballot box??? What did the most recent elections tell us about the socio-cultural reality of the Punjab? Allow me to refine it, PML-N claims it is an urban party, so does PTI, so does MQM, so how come Majlis is full of Waderas (feudals) and their progeny??

See there is something wrong with people like us, we are not like the majority of Pakistanis - the majority of Pakistanis are like the state, they do not share our values and we do not share theirs. So, it seems to me that the only way "lowlife politicians" can be done away with< is to change the economic structure of rural pakistan< and thereby the attitudes at work in society>

I think you have hit it on the nail. Our country is so backward because of our Urban-Rural mix.

Pakistan is 35% Urban and 65% Rural ( it used to be 20% Urban and 80% Rural in the 60's and 70's ).

Both Turkey and Iran are 70% Urban and 30% Rural.

Western European countries are 80% to 90% Urban and 10%-20% Rural.

That speaks volumes.

not withstanding your claims of others breeding ji- handi's - I guess the conspiratorial trait is in the gene of certain countries citizenry. Saying the army has not "meddled" in the last few years is also not true. The very first act even before this new PM took office was your army chief telling a head of state they better not got forward with gusto on improving ties with India. their meddling is deep and quite bold. In the last administration they dictated to Zadari that army and ISI will never come under the jurisdiction of your " govt oversight body"

The term I used was "questionable proxies".
State support for LTTE, contras, etc. are all "conspiracies".
Uh huh!

The fact that you have to scrape the bottom of the barrel for verbal "cautions" rather than concrete examples of army meddling says it all.

Dictating that the military won't come under govt jurisdiction- if seen as scraping of the barrel- then we know why your country is headed in the opposite direction. If it's supporters and citizens give it a pass... then you know why you are headed in reverse. IF coup or no coup is the sole benchmark for the last few years then Happy tides...

to rest of us we go- who you kidding, we know the military/ ISI is the real power in Pakistan

Responsible citizens believe in concrete evidence.
Conspiracy nuts lap up verbal comments that reinforce their pet conspiracy.

And, naturally, you have silently tried to shift away from "meddling in civilian affairs", which was the actual topic of discussion.

Here in Peshawar outskirts, there s an area Badha ber and it suffers almost frequently with suicide blasts on their funerals, mosques ,other gatherings and whatnot, why, because they opposed lashker islam couple of years back and now they guard day night themselves because their life is stake any moment....any police officer, local elder or whoever is vocal or acting against them effectively these terrorists just blow them up,not even sparing their funerals....

To say why people show no outrage towards them is wrong but the consequences of showing them are well in front of us...
