He made silly promises and he obviously could never keep them, then he was very unlucky to walk into two major crises early in his tenure; financial crisis on day one and covid in year two. But my problem with him was from earlier, it’s that he had sold his soul for the seat (then again who doesn’t?), my main issue with his tenure itself is weakening of civilian authority and democratic-ness.

As for alternatives, there truly are none, the opposition suck, and they’re far too weak and/or selfish to unseat him. And what does it matter who’s PM anyway?? The army brought IK to power and they run the show where it matters, and the only way PPP or PML are allowed back again is if they allow it.
