What's up with Pakistan and it's disownership of Nobel laureates?

We lambasted Dr. Abdus Salam even though he represented Pakistan and brightened our name in the world of science just because his faith was not aligned with the majority of Pakistanis.
Now we're doing the same with Malala but this time we don't even have a reason!
She's a CIA agent? Please tell me how an 11 year old girl is going to spy for America inside Taliban?
She's a foreign conspiracy! Of what? How on earth is she going to destroy Pakistan?
Our paranoia is getting the better of us...why don't we just praise her for a little bit? She hasn't even committed a sin or crime but we badmouth her like she's a convicted serial killer.

umm no, she is dreaming of becoming Pakistan's PM in the next 20 years like Benazir, and hence destroying us

i personally find he-man's posts entertaining. his normal posts from what i've seen so far are very articulate and thought out. he does on occasions take cheap shots and trolls but even then they are at least somewhat creative and funny. on the other hand 90% of the "normal" posts in pakistani siyasat give you cancer.

coming on topic, the reason why noble laureates in pakistan are not respected is because of yahoodi saazish, raw, mossad, go nawaz go etc etc. it this mentality, that also comes up with slogans like shut down to rebuild. where shutting down all activities in a city is celebrated.

we sow cynicism in our society. everything is a conspiracy. our science books start in the name of allah. where do i start. oh well. there is no quick fix to this as someone else pointed out earlier, the jahil awam, but we can at least be more tolerant, accepting and open while still being ignorant.
