Whatever

I have a question
Why is it that in Bollywood or in Indian imagination every Muslim wears a skull cap? Y'all do know that many people don't even wear it in masjids nowadays forget regular everyday life

Who came up with skull caps?
Its just a depiction, early Bollywood movies had muslims wearing pashtoon pagris or something similar

Later on , most were depicted , especially rich ones wearing the cap similar to Mohammed Ali jinnah , I don't what that cap is called.

Early 2000s and late 90s Bollywood started getting funds from mafias etc , like dawood etc .
They had the job to glorify the mafia , especially muslim mafia , retards can go to any length for money .
Change public perception about the mafia
The high cultured suave urdu speaking , bandh gala wearing, paan eating musalman gentleman gave way to rowdy brash murderer muslim .
In cinemas, you think we will defend those bastards ?
Curse them as much as you want, we don't even care about their hedonism and vulgar lives

.
Most humbly you are misled by the prettiness of the color of the second German vehicle. :)
Don't say anything bad about this beauty. Childhood memories and all that. I am touchy about it

They say internal practices must be reformed

@Blueindian are you ethnically Bangali or just live in bangal?
Plus most common muslims , wear skull caps etc .
In Bengal or any where else. Religious folks wear green caps

Musalmans in telangana amd hyderabad wear red caps called fez
The Muslims from western parts are more rich than folks from eastern parts

Well, that culture and heritage is quite in-your-face nowadays in those elements which don't make sense. :)
Why go around constantly passing judgement on what others do or how they live ?

1. I am not a Tableeghi to look ungentlemanly by all day going about in white topi, white kurta-pyjama with the pyjama being high about the ankle and having a mustacheless beard. I am an old-style Muslim who is well-groomed generally.

2. Though I don't pray I must tell you that in the Quran there are only three prayers advised, not five. The five-prayer-a-day thing came later by adopting it from the Zarthusti religion ( Zoroastrianism ).
It's a personal matter, let them pray 50 times a day if they want.. none of my business.

I understand Punjabi is the going linguistic currency in Pakistan for the most part, and that Urdu is consigned to Sindh province mostly.. also slightly fading culturally ? Is this correct ?

I find Urdu very pleasing to the ear, like French in some respects, its very poetic in a sense.. also a lot of it is beyond my comprehension, the really pure stuff with no devanagri/Hindi language influence.

Skull caps is passe. Now Muslims in my area, some boys who go to my neighborhood mosque for "Arabic classes" and some older males wear the Arab thawb over their inner dress because you see the thawb is worn by the Holy Arabs and every Indian Muslim must absorb this holiness. But surely, you must know of thawb wearing in Britain especially by South Asian Tableeghi Muslims.

BTW I had enquired in the mosque if they teach Arabic language. No, they teach only "Quran" mostly translated into Urdu by some jaahil mullah, LOL.

I think tj ko ban kar daina chahiye. Muslim areas main mosques main reh kar kis baat ki tableegh kartay hain?

Absolutely must be banned. I know much more about true Islam than the TJ but these people would come to my house for years and irritate me. They are total ritualists who think Islam is all about praying all day long and half of the night and wearing certain dresses. They stopped coming when they realized that they can't pull me into their cult. These mindless people have spread all over the world from India and are being much used by NATO to join Al Qaeda to help NATO install mullah regimes in Libya and Syria. The recent regime-change attempt by CIA in Kazakhstan had involvement of the TJ.

It's a personal matter, let them pray 50 times a day if they want.. none of my business.

It's not a personal matter when they impose it on others. And because they do nothing but pray I call them no different than a Brahmin priest. Islam is lot less to do with prayer than with other things but let it be remain unsaid in this thread because there are and have been other threads for it. I will tag you when the next time comes for me to write it.

What else is a "priest" supposed to do but read and preach their religion, Hindu, Muslim or otherwise ?

but ok, I'm cool with live and let live, and not forcing anything down anyone's throat forcibly.

No Urdu is number #1 language of Pak as a lingua Franca and it's far from dying , everyone loves it

Most of modern Urdu poets were Pakistani for a reason

But everyday people anywhere in the country do not have that accent, every few hours of drive accents will change completely

Yes they wear salwar kameez , though muslims in Bengal and Bihar wear saree often
But in North, be it hindu or muslim both women wear salwar kameez , patiala is famous among women for its salwar kameez and among men for its peg .
