Armstrong's been looking to leave the UK following the completion of a degree program and looking at Norway as an option, but Norway isn't easy to enter without either sponsorship, family or a spouse.

All the Nordic nations - Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, the Faroe Islands and Aland are similar in this respect. Hard for foreigners to break into and more favorable for the domestic population. Norway is the hardest with no history of immigration. Only in the last few years have immigrants, non-refugees, been allowed in and even then it's been in small numbers for qualified, young and experience professionals.

To move to Norway as a single person, not as a family, you need someone who can sponsor you or else your chances of entry are slim if not non-existent.

And now using the baby as a.....ummmh...teaching the baby how to balance.

You might be wondering what I'm doing awake at 3:30am. Losing your sanity, you might have thought. Trolling the internet might have crossed your mind too.

But the mundane, and ultimately true answer is that I chugged to much tea before bed and am as wired as an electrical box right now. Too many thoughts, too much energy and thank goodness I have nothing important to do today because I'm going to be gassed by lunchtime.

Agreed, that's why I want you to do it. A messy dog, a baby that poops herself, and a girlfriend who I'm not entirely sure doesn't either (she is messy though, which clashes with my OCD!!)... like I want to clean up that mess.

I like to think Kat and Hana Song (D.va from Overwatch) are the same person. Video game obsessed, messy, anime and plushie loving kick butt girls.

I don't want to be a downer since I've given you a lot of grief already, but that's probably for the best and honestly, that's what I've been trying to tell you this whole time.

Emigrating is expensive and time consuming. Clearing customs alone could take years. You're better off trying your luck at where you are then trying to gain entry into an overprotective market like those found in many European nations, even those that need workers like Germany favor citizens of their countries.

You really are better off right there in the UK, though you might want to leave your immediate area and try other parts of the country.

My Mom apparently thought this would be a good time to tell me she's been taking kickboxing lessons. She even sent me this picture.

Well that's going to smooth things over real nicely isn't it? Just in time for the holidays and your Mom reminds you she can beat you up.

Or she's trying to tell me I'm fat.

Anyway wish me luck. My parents like Freyja, but I haven't talked to them in-depth in over a decade, so it's going to be rocky regardless. I'm already stocked up on wine just in case.

wow. That was very imaginative explanation. The vertical cross section of this cylinder has the form of a man. The cross section form varies like how the position of a man varies during walking. We light a cross section with a slice of light and then rotate the cylinder to get our walking man.
