I think that if the KMT had been victorious, China would have become even greater than it is now. I even postulate that China would have been the strategic ally of the United States as Equal Power Partners.

I actually believe that Japan probably would have been in 'trouble' had the KMT been victorious.

I don’t know how to compare them but I would compare the speculative KMT China like this, based on the 2 historic facts I’ve previously mentioned:

Let’s just imagine for a second that the KMT was in control of the mainland and the CCP was in control of Taiwan.

Then apply the 2 mentioned historic facts onto this imaginary scenario where CCP’s small Taiwan had to go through the Cultural Revolution and integrated itself to the rest of the world much later. Then imagine the KMT’s mainland China not having had to go through the Cultural Revolution but integrated itself to the rest of the world much earlier than the CCP of today, I think we will see a big difference.

Well, back in 80 years ago under KMT's China, Japan can literally run over a half of China.
