OT : Chinese males don't have any hassles if wives earn and support the Family while for most Indians Males being in such situations is kind of a social stigma.

Brother, are you like 200 years old? Most people want working wives nowadays ... No salary No ring.

Most of this stuff seems out of date, written no doubt by some old fogey in cubby hole somewhere. Indians are pretty materialistic nowadays, I don't see much if the simple living and high thinking of our grandparents time, we want name brands, holidays abroad, private schools and lots and lots of gold and diamond jewelry.

well not really. some guys in the world prefer to work as it's Husband's role to earn for the family. it always like this in many Asian Countries.

i am, for one, prefer to support my (future) wife if we did get married in the future. i probably must give 95% of my salary to my wife, no problem for me. heck, even if someday i've become a Japanese citizen, might as well train my skill in Horse Bet Racing
