Lollywood is not an industry since the government doesn't treat it like an industry. But it has a good future. We just need more investors. I myself am looking to enter it in a few years.

As for bollywood I don't watch it. Hollywood, Hong Kong and South Korean movies for me.

can't say about lollywood but bollywood is doing great and increasing it's influence many folds
there are some joint production going with hollywood and even china
Some of hollywood people have worked here and many indian actors working in hollywood
people around the globe (specially girls) are liking indian movies

indian movies, actors and performances are listed in all time greats

one can see bollywood song's in western dance reality shows

and nonetheless bollywood is the second largest film industry after hollywood

i really find bollywood as a asset or as a soft power in long term

Lollywood copies from Bollywood & Bollywood copies from Hollywood. So, if you want real entertainment then just stick to Hollywood. :pop:

True but after 2005 Bollywood movies are S*** (No offence) too much copying of western films and western style clothes, storylines etc - etc. (if I happen to watch Bollywood films then they are mostly old ones)

Lollywood after 2003 is nowhere to be seen except some odd few films coming out every now and then.

Btw I would remind People that Lollywood was and maybe still is, the Pakistani Punjabi film industry not the overall Pakistani film industry as some people might have assumed.

Peace

great Bollywood :lol::rofl::rofl:

Me like Western and Asian movies! Jackie Chan ftw!

Putting Bollywood and LollyWood together is a very bad idea.

Bollywood is 2nd largest film industry. Lollywood is not even a Industry. Not in Top 50.

I watch Bollywood or good lollywood, Tollywood or any xyz-wood, if it is good and recommended by friends. I dont watch it for only entertainment but for technicalities like camera angle, positioning, editing etc

What are you talking about? Haven't you watched 3 idiots, Black, Rang de Basanti, Munna bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Dhamaal, Kites, etc etc?

The thing you calling western, tell me, which film industry does not follows? Recently I have watched a South Korean film, its costumes, marriage most of the thing was like you call it 'western'. So is Chinese, Japanese, Hing Kong, and other film industries.

How many hit films do lollywood put out in year compare that to bollywood we may get the answer

What about the obsession of Korean's with European Culture (Royalty,Architect.....).
Even the Japanese anime character having German or french names which even the voice actors cannot pronounce, maids and maid dresses :P
