What Muslim country is ideologically most similar to Pakistan?

What Muslim country is most similar to Pakistan in terms of ideological, moral, political, and societal framework of values?

20-30 years ago, Pakistan could have been compared to Turkey, but today it's India, which resembles closely to Pakistani society.
Today's Pakistanis have even started speaking hindi.
Filth in streets is same, if not less.
Ever more un-organized public in street, makes it difficult to guess, if it's India or Pakistan.

Even to this day another parallel that is present is how Libya and Afghanistan have flared up and posed as a risk for Egypt and Pakistan respectively. To add even more - Libya and Egypt had border conflicts in the past with Egypt teaching them a lesson or two with their air force. Same deal with Pakistan and Afghanistan

But currently PTI gov loves Turkey and dislikes Arab world in general. Turkey is basically like America in Afghanistan if you want to compare roles.

Turkey and Egypt come to mind to have some similarities . But Pakistan has very distinctive unique Islamic ideology which on one side links Pakistan to other Islamic brother countries ,It also keeps Pakistan only one unique country to have this ideology.

With population booming in all of the Arab world we will have "power" whatever that means in his situation. Turkey could collapse at any time, or a coup could take out Erdogan which would leave it more or less powerless.

No..I do not agree with your assessment...Turkey and Iran are 2 nations in Muslims world which are shaped their power due to inherent independent culture that is always driving force in uniting them against all odds...On top of it, they have unique distinct Turkic cultural nationalism, Islam and educated population provided additional strength to make them a powerful entity among st Muslim world....

Turks love Pakistanis, but we don't look like much. In fact, if you look at it, we are not exactly like anybody, we can be the country with the most mosques, but due to our geography, we can be in the country with the most churches (maybe Lubnan is more but not historical), the homosexuals you show depend mostly on the left Kurdish population of the country, nationalists or Islamists do not like them very much. I don't know much about Pakistan, but when we look at their culture, appearance and politics, we are not really similar. Also we don't understand arabics why don't like us dude, , Do you watch Turkish TV Series or Movies , u don't know I see you've never been to Turkey but we are not dark-skinned Arabs, after all, being a Muslim does not mean that we should be like Arabs, do Indonesians all dress up like middle easters?
As a blond balkan immigrant Turk, I live on the European side of Istanbul and I'm Muslim, you can see thousands of people who look like me when you walk around on the street, so why do I have to look like you? Do slavic Muslims in the Balkans have to look good to an arab ?

Unfortunately I cannot join my Pakistani brothers, when I look at our vloggers on a trip to Pakistan, I see that Pakistan is different from everything. Neither our city structure, our food, or our clothing, our cultures are alike. This is how we can think here because the articles in the forum speak. As far as I look at the travel videos I see, Afghans and Indian Muslims are very similar to Pakistanis

They have good leadership above all else, and a population that is educated much better because they were allied and copied the West for a majority of their countries lifespans but even now Iran fell behind Turkey economically because of the revolution.

What do you exactly mean by uniting culture?

We have to make a distinction between interests and ideology. Our interests align with China the most.

Ideology if broadly translates to having a sovereign muslim nation in south asia -well protected against extremist hindu dominance- and lending assistance to muslim nations abroad either under UN mandate or through bilateral channels, then there is no one that would agree with the whole package.

Because sadly, hindutva extremism is not considered a threat by muslim countries outside of south asia YET.

Afghanistan could have been a reliable partner considering their history with india, but sadly they chose a path of alignment with hindutva fascism proving their are more proud of ethnicity than islam from day one.

Bangladesh could have been another candidate but sadly history was not kind to Pakistan.

There's more to it than that. If we take things at face value than Pakistan's standing in front of the gulf states should've been in a free fall downwards. That is not the case and I feel like the military had a hand in playing the good cop role.

Turkey doesn't play an Indian gamble called cricket. Turks don't cheer circus clown cricketers. They have more self respects. Therefore, don't dare compare Turkey with modern day PAKISTAN which was on the right track in the 60s. Pakistan still drives on the colonial English way on the left side of the road unlike Turkey.

Wow calm down, communist
Those people are similar, of course they will play the games required by that geography.
