Simple question would like to know how much is the minimum salary's you guys get paid in China, Pakistan and India?

For example here in Australia we get $672.70 a week or $17.70 a hour that is for a low paying job in Australia.

A garbage collector in Australia would earn $ 25.08 an hour but you have to remember in Australia there is respect given to people no matter what kind of job they do.

So what is the minimum wage in your country?

PKR 15,000 / month, which is approximately USD 150 a month. That is the minimum wage in Pakistan and it won't increase unless the industrialists / businessmen / capitalists who get elected to Parliament are hung upside down .........

So you guys don't get paid every week like we do in Australia? Or every 2 weeks?

We are talking about laborers, normally the minimum wage applies to that class. The laborers mostly work on daily wages, normal employees of a corporation work for a monthly salary with some perks etc. It all depends on nature of employment, contractual, permanent or daily wager etc

. . . . .
I see people earning 10 thousand Pakistani rupees here which is very low compared to australia.here people are treated like animals.poverty is a major problem.also there is injustice here.if you have a relative in a private or government company,he can gift you a job in that particular company even if you don't know how to read English.injustice is common here.some of my friends got a perfect job because they have relatives in that particular company.all in all, merit holds no value.

But you see, 10000 Pkr is roughly 125 australian dollars. And a family of 2 can easily live on this amount here in Pakistan for a month. But can you say the same about australia ? I can bet that you wont be able to live a week on 125 australian dollars in australia let alone a month. Its not the 'treating inhuman" attitude but the class difference between these two societies. Australia is a developed country, our is a under-developed country whose 50-60% population is dependent on agriculture.

Btw talking about "inhumane treatment" next time when you hire labor to do some construction work or any other task, pay them 2000 Pkr/day instead of 500. I think that will be acceptable to both of you. Right ?

I think minimum wages change with states in India.

In my state, you get to earn a minimum of Rs. 800 per day for any blue collar job.

But there are white collar jobs who earn less than Rs. 500 a day (8 hours). But not less than Rs.300

You are right no way can you live on $125 AUD a month that is why Australia has such a high standard of living. But there are other factors as well like the quality of air we breathe, the environment etc if you look at all the cities in Australia they have been in the worlds most livable cities almost every year.

The people here actually care for each other and our communities we are taught at school to respect the environment Australia has a lot to be proud of. We are on the forefront of technology, sports, medicine, education just on education we have the worlds best universities in Australia and that's why our R&D is one the leaders in the world.

Can't comment on other factors as they are in really bad condition in Pakistan bit talking about the air quality, major portion of Pakistan population live in villages. Thats why 60% of our population breath good quality of air as villages have farms, agricultural lands and many trees surrounding as well as inside these villages. But that isn't the case in cities. Our cities are over-crowded. And have more pollution.

Same goes for most developing countries the lack of pollution control is a disgrace in India when I was there for example you had people burning garbage etc in the street.

Plastic and rubbish thrown everywhere on the beaches even the most beautiful place in India educated people where just throwing their rubbish around not caring.

Its not only India but whole sub-continent. We have this "chalta hay bhai" attitude towards every major and minor issue. When i tell people to save water and dont waste it, you are going to regret your acts beyound 2025. They laugh at me. Ask them tk dont cut the trees and they are like "dont worry. It will grow again". And i am like fcuk ya. But it will take 10+ years to mature you idiot. And what if someone like you cut it again ?

Man. We "as a society" are fcuked up.
