What are your "political leanings"?

Geez, apparently it seems I have issues with authority ;)

ps: Interesting site Bilal. Thanks

This is similar to the result I have. You are against authoritarianism, & strongly in favor of individual civil liberties & libertarianism. You are also favorable of a capitalistic, free market model for the economy than a communist/socialist one.

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.05

How am I doing ?

You have more socialistic/communist tendencies for the economy, & libertarian views (against authoritarianism) on social issues. I would call your views a bit similar to Noam Chomsky.

And it means?

And it means?

That you prefer a socialistic/communistic economic model than a capitalistic, free market one. You support market regulations. On social issues, you prefer authoritarianism/authority from the government over libertarian-ism/individual liberties.

Now explain what the hell it means???

I got almost the same..Mine point was on 3 (-X axis) and yours is on 2 ..

It means you're pretty close to being 'a centrist' on both social & economic issues. On social issues, you are more libertarian than you are authoritarian, meaning you encourage civil liberties than authoritarianism. On economic issues, you have a slight tendency towards communism than capitalism.

Is that goes for me too? :what:

You favor slight regulations on the economy than a free market, capitalistic economic system. You favor individual, civil liberties over authoritarian government rule in social issues.

You strongly favor restrictions on the economy, have strong leanings for communism than free market capitalism. You are slightly in favor of individual liberties than authoritarian rule for social issues.

Why are most Indians here favorable of a communistic/socialistic economic model than a free market, capitalistic one; considering how much India has progressed from free market capitalism, & how much India suffered a few decades back when they didn't have free market capitalism & a closed economy?

I don't think the author used proper mechanism to calculate the leanings. I consider my self a capitalist, but that doesn't mean i will accept free run by private corporates. Balances and Checks are always needed. One important question he asked to forgot is "Whether you agree with state owning up companies and natural resources?" . I say "disagree".

You say you will not accept free run by private corporations. That means you favor certain restrictions/regulations, meaning you do not support a true free market economic model. And then you say that you don't want the state owning up companies & natural resources, meaning yes, that you are not a communist, but you are not a true capitalist either (mentioned earlier). I am curious, if the state is not responsible for owning up companies & natural resources, how would you ensure that there are certain regulations placed on private corporations, & that they don't get a free run?
