Wg.Cmdr Ronald Afzal Flew J-10 B against PLAAF own jets

and what do you prefer? Bright yellow? Bright Orange?
Fighter colour schemes are to make them visually invisible, based on the general sky/cloud look in our region, this is colour scheme is an excellent choice.
My choice will be bright Orange !!! are u deranged !! JF-17 replaced A5 Fantan with black panters sqdrn. have you seen that color scheme ??? these are for dedicated ground attack. blue/gray I can understand for Air patrols and dogfight encounters.

When do you think he'll test fly the J-31?

My own feeling is that PAF might have issued a formal expression of interest in J-31 program during the 5 day visit of PAF's chief. Test flying J-31 is the easy bit, i am more interested to see what kind of input PAF brings in on the table since the program is still in its infancy. Let's not forget that the design of JF-17 was the result of input made by a team of PAF pilots, the J-31 program can see similar input if PAF decides to go ahead with it. The best aspect of this program is going to be the ability of PAF & PLAAF to fight as a team. Developing interoperability is what the Shaheen series of exercises are aimed at.

Given the PAF pilot's skills operating the JF-17 and F-16, I shudder at the thought of one of them flying in a J-10B.

An Israeli F-15 pilot in a J-11D is even more fearsome of a notion.

Hi,
Lets not judge a jet by its colour :enjoy:

Unless its radome is painted green, in which case all judgement and hatred are valid.

PAF will have to wait until 2016, when the full prototype is slated to roll out.

why the Hell PAF is only using this light gray/blue color scheme?? Looks like an hang over from the 80s F-16.

I love the color scheme on Russian jets, maybe PAF could try something similar.

I am a bit confused here. The deal for J-10 is still on the table right?

Probably waiting for India to finalize Rafale deal. Then it would be easier for Pakistan to announce J-10 deal to balance threat posed by the Indians. It also gives time to J-10 to mature and new tech added to the fighter.

Yaar explain this to me
What happened to Zulus deal?
Are we going to get Zulu, Z10s. Mi 35 and mi 28s?
How many J-10s we are going to get?

They are the camo-schemes and mostly suited for cold icy terrains and seas as depicted by the colors
Yup the grey one is suited for snow covered areas, cold ice terrains as you said and blue one for sea and also ok for ice terrain. However the yellow one?? it wont be suitable for anything unless they park it in a sunflower field  mind you it is not that Sand Yellow!

That one is a testbed, if you see (901). Even wonder why Chinese and Pakistanis paint their prototypes in yellow paint.

Price of J-10C will be decreased if purchased with TOT. Buying 20 J-10C from China and then manufacturing 40 at Kamra with some western avionics will be ideal for Pakistan.
