I think instead of relying on verbal agreement , India should go for a comprehensive tri-patriate agreement b/n India, China & BD just like IWT so that any future dispute over Brahmaputra water can be avoided.

This is not true. We neither had intention nor capability. Even today, we don't have such aggressive intention. We gave shelter to Dalai Lama because of our same kind of old Cultural, if you are aware. We worship Gautam Buddha/Sidhartha too same like Tibetan people. He was religious spiritual leader and it's not crime. Even I personally adore him. Almost everyone in the world likes him for his most peaceful nature except may be China.

It was China who attacked India. But Fortunately now we are strong economically and Military wise. Hence, Chance of another War is not practically possible. I am sure, everyone aware of this. It's better to make good relation it's mutual benefit for both India-China.

When our then PM Nehru visited China and Indians back home were shouting 'Hindi-Chini Bhai Bhai' (Indians & Chinese are brothers) .There was so much goodwill for China in India and we were looking forward to a bright future with China by our side and then you cold heatedly stabed us in our back.

Even if we were the aggressors we could have talked us through but instead you decided to break the good will by opting for military action. Now 'Hindi-Chini Bhai Bhai' term is used to remind Indians that no country can be trusted as brothers and friends.

If you find Chinese cities under the threat of Indian nuclear missiles, you can thank 1962 for that.
