Want to leave West

Yes EXACTLY
I relate with your post the most. I know what u r talking and what it feels like.

And on the point of integrating yes we do what we can at the max. But me n my family cant just give up who we are completely to satisfy their version of "integration".
Wherever you go you will be the stranger, it doesnt matter even if you are born in that country, im still ''that Turk'' even thought speak German better than Turkish, they always say we should ''integrate'' ourselves ok fine i dont know what else i should do but you arent making it easy for us either...
If you dont want your roots to be your most important feature then go to Pakistan, but be aware that even there you might be the stranger, thats at least the case with me, we the 2nd/3rd gen have to live with that identitiy crisis unfortunately.

Yes most goraaz are fair people who will not hesitate to criticise their own people if they are on wrong side ..off course we have exception and have some idiot out there who behave stupid because of ignorance but what I appreciate about them is that they hardly get emotional and angry when someone criticise them or policies of their countries .
You know my brother is a police officer. He is the only Pakistan or ethnic minority in the entire police station. Every day he has to depend on his fellow officers for his own safety. With the exception of one female who he felt was closet racist he has had no problems whatsoever. All the his colleagues look at him as just one of them facing the bad guys on the streets. Of course you have to make effort to fit in. There is lot of banter and you need to key in with that or you will end up being isolated. Of course we always will have some bad apples. But majority is what defines us.

True I myself have some relatives who work as immigration officers in airports and sometime if you get chance to visit Birmingham airport then you will see that almost half immigration staff is from India/Pakistan lol

Integration is such a broad term the westerners themselves dont even know what exactly they want, it can span from being a good citizen up until assimilation.

Its just political slogans to get the Immigrants to vote a certain party

Yeah but PAF dont give THE option to fly in a combat role during weekends like the USAF Reserves or Air Guard does.

When I heard about Turkey mulling similar route after Turkish coupe when hundreds of combat pilots were booted.

So naturally I became interested in TuAF.

I dont understand what is soooo sinister about that.
Question have you thought of just joining the PAF I know some countries have a program or sorts for their diaspora to join their Armed Forces does Pakistan have that but for sure you would need to drop your US Citizenship for that

When I was into Aviation I was mostly into the Commerical sector not Armed Forces by not flying combat on weekends what exactly you mean

I am 2nd gen. I can relate with that but we got to keep a open mind and not get constipated about it. I always am aware of my roots as Pakistani but I prefix that with British. It's a evolving process.

2nd Gen gang tho I have had family living here in States and Canada since the 1950s

If you visit pilot forums. You will find that within aviation there is a sizable community of pilots who have a hybrid life with a mixture of military and civil flying. That is what I am interested in ultimately finding.

lol. I will ask him next time. But he did not join for trhe "ole" fat pension. The whole cop thing was his wish. He enjoys the varied and hectic life of a police officer and also has ambitions to rise up the ranks.

.
I think New Zealand and Canada are two best country to live now as per my assessment
