About no. 3, it would depend on the type of the material used to fabricate the semiconductor / microchip / microprocessor. There is interest in alternate methods to achieve microprocessors and other semiconductors using materials and methods such as miniaturized vacuum tube, diamond-based electronics and graphene-based electronics. So Bangladesh should first decide upon the method and material of achieving semiconductors and then set up the fabrication plant and the manufacturing machinery need not involve interaction with the USA and EU at all. @Bilal9 @AmiEktaKharapChele @Skull and Bones
What kind of electronics does India manufacture ?
You know Sanghis keep chest-beating that India exported millions of dollars in electronics - mostly to neighbor countries and Africa. What are they - other than maybe cellphones assembled from Chinese kits? Back in the day Bangladeshi traders used to import Karbonn cellphones made in India to Bangladesh (made from Chinese parts) but that is reduced to a trickle now...I'd guess more than 80% of the cellphones sold locally in Bangladesh are made locally. Symphony and Walton having major shares of that sector.
