I'm in two minds about the whole thing, she says "behave like a human being", then came the slave remark. To be honest she very lucky not have been beaten to a pulp for that.

On the other side, I do find EE people far more pleasant than the arrivals from West Africa, that came during Blair's "Golden Era". I have also extensively travelled in EE, and found the people lovely.

If they are to be accused of racism you could refer to Eastern Europeans as passive racists in the sense most of them don't know that they're doing something wrong by calling someone "black" or other apparent offensive words.Plus,they don't share a past guilt as they didn't own slaves or colonies before.

Yes Eastern Europeans don't really see much of other races in their country but when they come to UK, they get a big shock. I still haven't come across any racist Polish. Most of them are usually very friendly.

they are friendly and hard working but some are racist just will never show it, my cousin used to study in Lublin was doin dentistry and in the morning when he went to Uni he was faced with Hi hitler salutes and his Taiwanese friends got beaten up pretty bad.

True these bharat army are a bunch of dogs I admit it, I was in B'ham for the 20/20 game and they were taking the piss out of Mohins Beard and one had a clipper. A video of a woman who appears to tell a passenger that his ancestors “used to be slaves” during an argument on the London Underground is being investigated by police.

The incident had erupted between the woman, who appears to be European, and the black man on the Jubilee line train between Stratford and West Ham.

The man can be heard shouting at the woman and he said she allegedly told him “don’t touch me” after he accidentally bumped into her.

The man was told by the woman that 'you guys used to be slaves'The woman can be heard to say: “You called me racist, I’m not racist. That is why people have a problem with you guys. I have black friends. I’m not racist.”

“If you acted like a human being then I wouldn’t have a problem with that. You have a problem because you guys used to be slaves,” she added.

Other passengers joined in and shouted at her to “shut up” and “don’t say that”.

The man, dressed in a red blazer and black flat cap, tells her to use her “common sense” before shouting five times at her “you just called me a slave”.

He walks away and the others continue to argue among themselves before he comes back and continues.

The woman then says: “You’re a piece of s***. Honestly, I’m fed up with you guys” before she moves across the carriage and out of shot.

It is not known when the incident exactly took place but the video is being investigated, the British Transport police said.

A spokesman said: “Officers are currently analysing the video and are appealing for the person who recorded it to come forward.”

I then talked to my Polish colleagues, and the guys were pretty upfront with the whole "because you have very fair skin and light eyes they don't take notice". Had I been black or mixed race (part black) you would be under physical attack they stated.

At the end of the day the EE immigrants are not just prepared for what they see in London. They come from very racially homogeneous societies and it is a culture shock to them. The same is not true for Western Europeans. It doesn't excuse of course.
