Video of woman telling black man 'you guys used to be slaves' investigated by police

Isn't this a little bit over the top ? It sounded to me like she was trying to explain why that guy was insecure/rude albeit she did it poorly.Still, prosecuted ? Come on,there are people with "behead those who insult..." signs walking around the UK.

Don't know,maybe i'm downplaying it to much.

Here is my view. What she said was totally wrong and not acceptable. But we didn't get to see what exactly happened. She was claiming the man touched her/bumped into her. She was angry but she should have controlled her anger.

We are humans and we make mistakes. In fit of rage we blabber a lot of things that we would never do sober. But sometimes we just take it too far. Now how much is "too far" is very relative and vague, and the authorities will have to take a call on it according to the relevant laws.

Her job could be jeopardised.

Yeah it will be up to the authorities where they wish to take this.

Fair enough but i still think that prosecution or loosing her job is disproportionate.

A rap on the knuckles should be fine with an apology to the man in question

Community service maybe

Truth be told that man was trying to blow things out of proportion and to give it another twist:

"Did you just call me a slave ? Did you just call me a slave ?"

Erghhh....no,no she didn't.

Two very recent immigrants fighting it out on London Underground, you couldn't literally make it up.....The state of London makes me very sad.

Well she did try to imply that his actions or behavior is a direct resultant of him being from a slave background.

Eastern Europeans bringing their racist mindset and other bad habits to England. UKIPs rise doesn't surprise me.

To be honest I don't think she really meant what she said and the man was shouting without giving a chance for the woman to talk.

Should just forgive and move on. I have seen how some black and Asian youths refer to white women. Racism works both ways.

I'm in two minds about the whole thing, she says "behave like a human being", then came the slave remark. To be honest she very lucky not have been beaten to a pulp for that.

On the other side, I do find EE people far more pleasant than the arrivals from West Africa, that came during Blair's "Golden Era". I have also extensively travelled in EE, and found the people lovely.

Boo fucking hoo! I have used worst insults during my arguments & have had equally bad insults thrown at me & not a single **** was given. People complaining about something that minor really need to spend some time in our part of the world to know what insults truly are.

Bringing up slavery is not an insult, neither is it wrong to discuss the historical reality of slavery & the effects it has had on people, which is essentially the main event occurring in that video. As such, that woman does not deserve any punishment whatsoever. The dumb African on the other hand should avoid calling people racist every time he has an argument with members of another race, which appears to be what irked the woman in the first place.

They are fine with Asians but very racist towards black people. This does not make it alright. Britain needs to limit this bitter mindset.
