VC complaint on azaan: IG bans loudspeakers between 10 pm and 6 am

As I said in post# 10 I am for total replacement of azaan loudspeakers in favor of the cell phone app Muslim Pro which notifies the user of the qibla ( direction to pray ) and the azaan ( five times a day ).

No, it happens for five days at least.

I speak for total ban on fireworks in India and the world. In fact there is such a ban in China and among the one or two things about China I like this sort of ban.

Deepawali should be celebrated by lighting lamps and not firing and bursting fireworks.

I don't support blanket ban on all celebrations and festivities be it Hindu, Muslim or anything else marriage, party etc. We are not China for a reason. In fact festivals makes surrounding colorful and vibrant, it helps stimulate economy, create jobs and what not all. But yes no DJs, bombs or anything between 10:00 pm - 06:00 am should be strictly adhered too.

you misunderstood the post. @Imran Khan said one speaker is enough rather then so many.
giving Azan on loudspeaker is making hell, you made this up... please reconsider and act wisely in such matters, u are a respectable and title holder, u represent PDF and should tolerate disagreements .

I completely understand the post. I again retreat, the subject is sensitive and words should have been chosen wisely.

I am sure there will be lot of people wanting 4 loud speakers of four different directions.

This is harmful to the society. When one extreme is measuring every aspect with religious eye the other extreme is totally disregard the feelings of individuals for islam. U shouldnt ridicule speakers that are being used for azan.

@The Accountant Imran Khan isn't disregarding Azaan instead voicing his concerns on loudspeakers. To be fair, we don't need speakers as namaz timing is known to every muslim. You have your personal alarms and dozens of other reminders that can help you for namaz timing. Loud speakers really are unnecessary.

A recent report said that out of 30 cities in the world that are most polluted 22 are in India. We should ponder how.

Exactly so ! And where Muslims are not in Muslim-majority lands, like in India, they can use alarms or that cell phone app called Muslim Pro.

Do u even pray 5 times a day in mosque ? If u dont then u do not have right to speak on the topic. Azan is for those who prays and they understand its importance.

So you will allow Pakistani Hindus to start bursting firecrackers ? If they already do then will you allow them to burst to the extent like in India ?

After all, they will be just carrying out a perceived religious necessity. Just like azaan on loudspeaker.

lets agree to disagree. please read the following Hadith in reference to the on going debate. I personally think these speakers have of no value in front of a hardworking muslim who is tired and needs a sound sleep.

Abdullah ibn Umar (ra) narrated that he saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) making tawaf of the Ka’bah and saying, “How delightful you are, and how great is your scent! How magnificent you are, and how great is your sanctity! But by the one in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the sanctity of a believer, his wealth and his blood, is greater in the sight of Allah than your sanctity, and we do not think of him except good.” (Ibn Majah)

You are putting words in my mouth. Where did i say that azaan should be banned or there is no need of azaan? All i said that moaazan can call for prayer in his natural voice without using the speakers. What is wrong in that?

Good...I wish BJP comes to power in telangana too...Aazaan has become a big nuisance even in my hometown...3 azaans at the same time in early morning...cant one azaan do the job? Really irritating, disturbing and frustrating to hear dozens of azaans from all directions.

The first time my indian friends told me that Azaan is recited on loud speakers across india....I was shocked I would have never expected such public prevalence of Islam across india.

Got invaded, butchered, conquered, and ruled over by superior Muslims for centuries and centuries. Islam eradicated "dharma" from vast territories of Central Asia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia etc.Without the dawn of Islam, Dharmic Hindu faith category would have been the largest in the world today---but now its mostly reduced to just one backward sh*thole called india.

If all of THIS wasn't enough....16% Muslims took away 25% of indian landmass in 1947 and established their Islamic state while india was made secular. And in that secular left-over last remaining land of humiliated and beaten down Hindus, Muslims are growing demographically (went from 9% to 15% and still growing), Islamic holidays are observed as NATIONAL holidays, special rights are given to Muslims, Azaan is played for entire country 5 times a day, Hindu girls get f*cked by Muslims and Hindus cry love Jihad, Muslims get 90% of all the scholarships, and so much more.

Truly, the history really f*cked Hindus in the a$$$ thoroughly...Bloody hell (But still, no mercy from us. We will keep them on leash as we demonstrated on 27th Feb)

Comparing 5 times a day to 1 day a year (with permission) is idiotic. Blocking of roads on fridays and loudspeakers between 10 pm - 6 am should be absolutely banned.

Roads are blocked because Mosques are not allowed to be built...and those that are built are destroyed by fanatical Hindu mobs (Like babri Masjid). Govt should fund massive Mosque projects in india so roads arent blocked.

i know what happens in india. hindus banning stuff for themselves isnt my problem. if they want to ban their fellow hindus from using firecrackers, not my problem.
