Why is it banned? Why? Let a Muslim country ban the Santa Claus then I will ask you? Extremist, fundamentalist, threat, terrorists, psychos, polygamists, raspiest, murderers, evil, worse than Illuminati..mother of all evils, mean, cruel even Baphomet worships this terrorist nation terrorizing tourists and territories across the globes with their terrifying action of banning Valentine's day.;)
(Did a Mouslem just posted one-eyed smile, how terrifying?)

Lol
The consider Santa Claus to be a commercialized S:t Nicodemus.
After the S:t Nicodemus Day (Dec 6th), dressing like Santa Claus is no problem.

Since the day Santa Claus figure was actually created for a Coca-Cola commercial, they have a point.
It is a bit annoying with X-Mas decorations startong to appear in stores in September.

There is no valid comparison between immigration and the practice of romance. Immigration is local. Romance is universal. But if your Pakistan want to control romance...
ban is a ban, isn't it all about "freedom". Lets be real here, you have grown up in different culture and different society and you will always prefer that. Pakistan and other countries have their own unique cultures, societies, norms, and values. To each his own. Something that is loved in your society is not okay in some other place in the world.

Absolutely. Punish anyone who celebrate this foreign and evil holiday.

Ooopsss...It is not a recognized holiday...
Yeah, we will make their seekh kebabs, we will drink blood of baby girls and make a mince of baby boys and label their minces as Kafir Kebabs and replace it with K&Ns

You want some?

ban is a ban,...
Yes, but the US did not 'ban' Muslims from entering our country. Only certain countries will have additional screening. That is not a 'ban'. You are just too lazy to look it up.

I don't care what you do with Santa Claus.I am going to make kaafir kebabs of all cute, loving, non serious, sensational, sexy looking couples.

Any ideas?

Actually you banned people for 90 days from some countries, but one country was banned indefinitely. That is a ban, stop people from entering somewhere is a ban.

so brother i don't understand one thing, if we can't get married (i am not married yet) then we should just go out and date girls???[/QUOTE]

Not sure if you followed what I have said from your above question.
I am not in favour of Valentine's day.
I think it's good if you can find a wife.

However, reality check is this. In Pakistan you need money .... lots of money to find a wife. You need education and a good job. You need dowery. You need the status etc.
Some people here simply say go get married.....I am saying not that easy. I know for a fact if you like a girl and she likes you and you have done nothing wrong but tell your parents the odds of them agreeing to you two marrying are very very low. This is a fact. However in the lala land of the maulwis everything is wonderful and its all halal and everyone is the perfect Muslim or they are kaffirs and must be killed. In their world yes you will find a wife on every street corner (excuse the pun) but reality is different

Hope that's clear for you.

Which ? And for what reason(s) ?

But even if the citizens of one country is not allowed, a 'ban' implies a blanket policy, which is not the case.

Face it. You have no credible argument. Immigration is a real world policy while Valentine's Day is nothing but a harmless cultural artifact whose components -- romance and courtship between men and women -- are common throughout the ages and transcend borders. There is no valid comparison. You embarrass yourself.

I know and i agree bro, but will celebrating valentines day fix the problem of being unable to get married? Please don't bring Maulvis into this discussion because IHC banned this and not some religious scholars, plus we should stop using this prestigious title of "Maulvi" in derogatory way.
I will not get married anytime soon, maybe never due to some personal problems. But that does not mean i should celebrate valentine day just because i am not married.

I am, believe me.It is my job as a mod and as vice chairman of Think Tanks to make things easy for them and to have relevant to the context discussion. If I issue ban to them than they will be running around into other forums hence wasting bandwidth and talking nonsense against us.Look at them, how they are over-reacting for this decision.Have you seen any foreigner in Indian sanctum where similar case is discussed by Indian posters. They are even publically warning of forceful marriage to the couples.Who commented on it? What comments were made by our foreigners? Heck even Indians come here to 'teach' us for how to run country, what we must ban and what we not?
Besides, what is wrong with imaginary kaafir kebabs? Is it worse than forceful marriage?

regards

This ban is bad for Pakistan's image in the world...

Those who don't like valentine day to be celebrated, should run campaigns, tell people why it is not good for our culture and then let the decision to public to decide whether to celebrate or not...

Why suddenly put a ban? Are we returning to Zia's era?

I will probably never celebrate Valentine day because I don't like it but forcing others to do the same is not right...

There should have had some kind of debate before banning valentine's day - whether it should be banned or not...what people say??...

May Allah bless Pakistan and protect our country from all harms and negativity.

Syria is banned indefinitely.
Lol so my point of view has no value? Immigration is a problem in your country and you banned it. Valentines day is against norms and values of our society so our courts banned it. Stop with the double standards now.
