USAF intercepts Iranian civilian airliner over Syria?

That video does not prove that it got as close as 100 meters to the plane, and I never claimed it proved that, but it certainly proves that the US claim that you were 5,000 ft away from the airplane is bullshit. It's funny how uncoordinated the US officials are when they want to lie. First they said 1,000 ft and then 1,500 ft and now it's 5,000 ft lol

So, the point of that video was to disprove your 5000 ft claim. It is still possible that the jet fighters got closer than what was recorded on video.

Yeah the video disproves it because it keeps zooming in and out on the plane. You see it as a dot then you see it better when zooming in as the video show.

And what's your point about the drop in flight altitude? The pilot has clearly said that he had to drop his altitude to get rid of your jet fighters. So, what is your point?

And the point you pinned is where the interception occurred? Based on what data? What source? And the flight path doesn't show a noticeable divergence.

The point is at that time over that location near Al Tanf, he is flying at the altitudes that he doesn't usually suppose to fly at the rate of vertical speed. Don't you get it? He usually flys and stays at 34,000 feet. But recently he had to jump up to 34,300 quickly just like you see in the images I posted of his flight plan at the time of the interception. If you don't get it, I can't help you there.

Fair enough. Why the US initially claimed that the jet fighters were at a distance of 1000 feet from the passenger plane?

I edited my post after that. I think you didn't read it. The first noticeable and sudden drop in altitude occurs at -38 minutes. Assuming that 0 denotes arrival at Beirut, and we know that it takes 36 minutes to fly to Beirut from Damascus, it seems to me that the whereabouts of the incident should be close to Damascus. Or am I reading the numbers incorrectly?

Nevertheless, none of this change the fact that the US cannot declare a no-fly zone over Syria and civilian airlines should not be harassed by jet fighters.

Or all this is a provocation of USA to Iran (just like the recent Israeli cyberattacks), and I dont know what type of response they want to provocate exactly.
Or American are dumbs and they dont have enough military radars in ground to identify a airplane.

. . . . .
Trump is accelerating Iranian domestic production and self reliance. Dependance on oil income is already severely adjusted. 4 years more is a blessing for Iran in the long term.
but this position refects the current reality- Americans know Trump is horrible for them now, so if Trump is bad for Americans, he must be good for US enemies. lol.
