The gap between PLAAF and USAF is so LARGE, i just need to add few pics to end the AirForce Power.

True, this thread just show how far behind China is still compare to the US. It will be decades before China can appear in front of US in the same battle field that is not within China's territorial waters.

PAC3 = HQ-29 Coming Soon
SM3 = HQ-26 Coming Soon
THAAD = HQ-19 Coming Soon

There's some speculation that aircraft like the V-22 in works.

@Esc8781 @Oldman1

China is developing Y-20 heavy lift and C919 with domestic engine and designs. A few other lift aircraft are also in the works, but with less publicity. China is developing Z-18, Z-20 for medium and heavy lift with domestic engines. A few other models of helicopters also exist.

Y-20 will be ready by 17, while C919 will probably be 19. The helicopters will be ready before the decades' end. With established teams and infrastructures future development will be fast and effective.

Most of the American have that we don't have is because of these big birds. But they are coming, better late than never.

Its deployed on USS Ponce.

And unless you have a real laser and a video showing it, then that pic you posted is nothing but fake.

Army version.

Sorry, but a lack of video does not necessarily imply that the picture itself is unreal, given the secretive nature of the Chinese and their extensive research, development, and investment in such systems.

The biggest line that divides the USAF and PLAAF is not necessarily technology itself but rather its quantity. For every 4.5-gen J-15, J-16, or J-10B the PLAAF can put up, the USAF can effortlessly counter it with many more of the F-15E, Super Hornet, and later F-35. This could mean that the PLAAF needs to invest more in so-called "force multipliers" such as AESA-equipped renovated fighters and a spur in AWACS deployment. PLAAF has taken notice of this and perhaps this is why there are lots of upgrade programs for older equipment as well as the need to put extremely high-tech systems in tandem with rather-legacy platforms (i.e. J-11B AESA upgrade and similar retrofits) in order to compensate for their lack of force itself.

Does China have an equivalent platform to the RC-135?

Y-8DZ, Y-8G, Y-8H, Y-8JB, Y-8T

Pushing a country out of a region is a matter of quantity as well as regional hegemony in terms of geography. PLA is weaker, but there are a lot of equipment in the US that might not interest the PLA at all, which would not spur any PLA equivalent, and as such it would be erroneous to claim that the PLA is behind based on such discrepancies.

The picture is as unreal as this. If its secret why show that picture in the first place?

Might as well claim the U.S. military built a hand held laser that can shoot down fighter planes.

The secretive nature of the program does not rule out the possibility that images of such systems could be taken, especially when there's nothing to suggest otherwise.
