US Think-Tanks ask Pakistan to sign CTBT without waiting for India

NSG created after 1974 Pokhran test .Its aim was to clamp down Indias nuclear development .After 34 years when they signed nuclear deal we have been moved a lots more in nuke technology and advancement .
We have advanced Thorium technology ,AHWR and most modern Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor .We developed all this tech when we were in total isolation. In addition to that we have impeccable non proliferation record .We created our own tech without anyones favour but our own terrific effort. An unique case for US.They came here for a deal due to above reasons.
Pakistan cant fit in any of this picture.
That is why the US behaving like this
.US Govt will propose a deal like this .If you sign that you would sacrifice some of your interest .If you reject that US may pursue an alternative way to deal with your nuke.
BLAH BLAH BLAH
Another feel good comment by Nair.

Move on people. Don't feed the troll.

So is Pakistan looking to sign it? and what will it gain from US or EU?

Typical arrogant Americans not looking at the big picture. Curtail India's nuclear power and then we can talk about our nukes. But Americans are champions of hypocricy. Bemoaning the nuclear path of Iran while signing a nuke deal with India a country that used a deal with Canada to build nuclear material.

Our nuke program is only for India. Demanding one side to give up the nuclear path is a policy of hypocrisy and utter dimwitted-ness, something Americans are champions of.

To take into confidence which international community? The same international community that has let Israel off the hook when it comes to nuclear weapons? No thank you. The international community is no paragon of virtue and trust that we should have to bow down and present our case before them. Their hypocrisy is evident for everyone to see.
But in one thing they are right. About the rights conditions for our Ahmedi brothers-though their advocacy groups mainly show the christian oppression rather than the much more oppressed Ahmedi community. We sunnis should be protecting you as well as possible.

Glad to see your love for Pakistan and its interests. By respecting and loving each other we can achieve much. My prayers are always with the Ahmedi community and I have no issue calling you a muslim brother. If you call yourself muslims I will say the words of Jinnah-how can I call someone non muslim who calls himself muslim?

Lets say India dismantles their Nuclear Weapons Program, will Pakistan follow suit? Or does the Weapons Program dismantling hinge on the ability to agree to the final status of their respective borders?

I think post Afghanistan, a lot will depend upon US-Russia-China dynamics. Pakistan unfortunately will float upon the waves of these relations.
US will like Pakistan cut to size and will be itching to sanction on one pretext or the other. A lot of blame game is expected amid the inevitable Taliban resurgence. An example of it is the recent uproar over the alleged Pak Operative in MSF hosp in Kunduz. Americans are terrible in accepting a defeat and their inflated egos won't allow a thriving Pakistan mocking their defeat. Pakistan Gov should pre emp this and to some extent latest remarks by Sartaj Aziz mirrors the same concerns.

.
May be america has good reward in return if pakistan signs the treaty.

So what is pakistans govt offcial response ?
Who need rewards for signing ctbt, no body give a damn about NPT, CTBT and missile control regime treaty in Pakistan.

.
actually they are oozing to sanction us again... they are just look for an excuse... Specailly Obama really believes in sanctions
Let them do so , sanctions failed to work against pak, north korea, russia, cuba blah blah.
Sanctions are a toothless tool.

Exactly the way they dealt with libya or syria. US no longer attacks militarily, there are lot of useful idiots for them to do the job. It is just a matter of time.

No way, india is conventionally stronger and bigger than pakistan. Given that nukes is their only saving grace. If pakistan had strong conventional forces they would never send terrorists to blow up inside india.
