But logically the US-Iran deal also should be seen in the backdrop of NATO withdrawal. it is possible but remains to be seen how it will take place.

Its very much in our national interest as there is significant investment of India in Afghanistan and Iran is our major trading partner. We had problems due to US and Iran hostility.

well they do have interests like

1. If Pakistan's interests are damaged in anyway that serves their purpose.

2. If Pakistan is deprived of taking any benefit out of Afghan saga or any regional saga , then its very much serve their purpose.

3. Any deal between US-Iran-Afghanistan will directly benefit India .

so all in all they do have interests in this development, the only stupid thing by them here is that they instead of jotting down logical points start ranting against Pakistan.

Of course its not surprising.

But what is surprising is that he has a large enough band of followers in Pakistan even after all this.

Godse have a large band of followers in India, saffron chuddis have large band of followers in India too, Gandhi's have large band of followers too.

afaik India has already begun construction of 900 km railway line from Chahabar port to Afganistan. Future is bright.

See; India has set up major economic stakes in Iran and Afghanistan. And India always believed that Iran was being unfairly side-lined in regional matters. Of course, the hard-liner bunch in Teheran made it very easy for that to happen.
Now, Teheran has itself injected a measure of reasonableness in its utterances and policies; while USA has belatedly woken up to the importance of Iran in regional affairs.
Common Sense prevails again; that is to be welcomed.
