Well, previously we were not paying for them F-16s but were approved and provided in lieu of another subjected amount however if it is the case that we have to pay for these 8 jets then i don't think so it's going to happen however US-Pak relations are beyond only these F-16s which are like symbol of diplomacy but there are far more things in these relations. While looking at the situation, I am off the opinion that these jets will come in same manners like in lieu of after all we are not paying such big amount for those 8 F-16s only and US knows.

1. because .. the F-16s are coming through . the deal has been reconfirmed
2..because the company is making money
3. because he got paid for his rants and doesnt mind if the deal went through in the end
4. because selfies are a good way to relieve strees

Maybe the Honorable Senator forgets, this is not the 90's where Pakistan was completely dependent on the West for high tech arms. Although i fully expect the sale of additional F16's to go through, but hypothetically if it does not go through, Pakistan has other alternatives to acquire platforms that are as potent as the F16s.

not good enough at the start of WoT and help us with our precision ground strike capabilities, the F-16s given to us were almost for free
so .... its a very poor show for all the money you have spent on bribes.
