The only difference is, IMF had to revise the growth of Pakistan on number of ocassions since last 3 years and Pakistan have been doing better than expected. Their prediction in 2014 showed Pakistan's GDP purchasing power parity will grow near 900 billion dollars in 2016, later they had to revise to around 930 billion USD, later they revised to 950 billion USD, later to 982 billion dollars until few weeks ago when the revised the upward figure to 988 billiom dollars... by that logic we are already 1 trillion dollar economy (possibly around 1030 billiom dollars) as its already half year past in the fiscal year. What it means is, our tiny economy is still bigger than the likes of Netherlands, South Africa, Malaysia and UAE in terms of GDP PPP.

The point is, Pakistan's GDP is likely to grow as the pace is coming back to the economy and if only the export and fdi issue is resolved, there is no reason why it won't be able to maintain the size difference with the likes of India anymore. There is absolutely no point in talking to most of our eastern neighbor about this. The reason is bcz they are brainwashed by their media and govt to believe that Pakistan will disintegrate or be destroyed. The reasons vary with time but the result predicted is always the same bcz in their minds they can't comprehend this at all. If you look at the couple of posts of here by them then it will highlight how they cling to the notion of destroyed and failed Pakistan and give foolish reasons which are furthest away from ground realities and this is bcz their media constantly feeds them this stream of propoganda.

I am sure in 2006 he believed it would be Taliban and provincial break up and economical downfall and now he believes it would be climate change ( could there be a more ridiculous reason. I an well versed in effects of climate change but I am also well versed in the counter steps pakistan has taken to combat it) and the scrapping of the IWT ( without even realizing that IWT is not being scrapped and if he had heard his own PM statement and not listen to the propoganda of his news channels then he would realize that modi stated that they would utilize the waters fully under IWT and not scrap it. ).

The thing is that they simply can't come to terms with it bcz they are bombarded with propoganda by their media. Baluchistan issue is largely resolved in its conflict sector and with development happening in Baluchistan as well as continuous taking if recruits, has killed the insurgency but they solemnly believe it will split in a year or two. Why? Bcz they have been raised to believe this. They are obsessed with the breakup and destruction of pakistan.

Constant bombardment of lies and disinformation like CPEC will destroy Pakistan, it is Chinese imperialism, Pakistan is a colony, FATA is rebelling, Baluchistan is almost separated, Khyber pakhtunkhwa is separating, Taliban have control of massive areas, operation zarb e azb is a lie e.t.c e.t.c e.t.c. due to this bombardment they can't come to terms that pakistan is growing economically, that the energy crisis has improved greatly which was really holding the economy back, that the security situation has improves drastically and the TTP have suffered heavy defeat, that the insurgents of Baluchistan are surrendering after constantly losing, that the people of Baluchistan and Khyber pakhtunkhwa don't seel separation and are loyal Pakistanis and have rejected the insurgents and extremis. We can post news and give them proof but in their minds they have already branded us as a failed disintegrated state. We cannot change this. We are dealing with a brainwashed nation.

Remember always. The reasons I'll change but they will always claim the same results. 50 years from now they will say pakistan will disintegrate in 2067 bcz of so and so and so.

Quite obsessed really. Our survivability has unhinged them. They are right bow trying to protect their own belief and reasoning.

I hope, for your own sake, that you do realize how little of a leverage the Chinese have over waters in India.

Pro tip - Take a geography class. Especially one focussed on the rivers in India, their major tributaries and the amount of water that flows in from each.
