Errr, once you stop making conspiracy theories, do bother to visit US AID site, download the pdf file on Pak Aid which contains the data of complete reimbursements to Pakistan and how much gone to army and how much to civilians and once you done reading, you will find that in 10-12 years, civilian (sector) got more aid than Military sector

If Modi had not voiced the issue of sanitation would that have made fixed the problem? No. Pointing out there is a problem is the first step to addressing it.

Modi has set a 2019 deadline for 100% access to sanitation, what is Pakistan's deadline for the same objective?

Americans are only interested in their objectives all along playing on Indian priorities in the region. The way Americans deal with both Pakistan and India shows they only want to secure their interests, not India's or Pakistan's.

At this moment, America needs Pakistan more than India. Once Americans believe they dont need Pakistan, which will be soon, they can legislate to address Indian concerns. Then Indians will jump in frenzied state that Americans are doing for them which they themselves couldn't.

I don't agree at all. The same arguments could have been used about OBL but going after him served its purpose. Every day Hafiz Saeed but particularly Dawood is allowed to roam free and out of reach of the Indian justice system is another day India is made to look weak and impotent. Getting Dawood would be the strongest signal India could send to anyone who would do India harm- you mess with us, we will get you. This is the message the 2011 Abbotobad mission sent to the world.


As for using these guys as a tool to malign Pakistan on the world stage, they don't need any outside assistance with this, they are doing that all by themselves. Maligning Pakistan serves little utility to India in itself.

Welcome to politics. Politicians say one thing to get into power and change their tune once they are in office. Obama had promised to close Guantanamo Bay within 100 days of entering office, here we are almost 6 years later and the camp is still running.

I actually thought all that chest-thumping during the elections was cringe worthy and that Modi has acted in a much more statesmen like way since entering office and I'm glad to see. Had he been the same guy he was during the election process he'd have been a throughly unworthy leader of 1.25 billion people.

yes...if india gets dawood and HS it is great, but i am not that optimistic about pak handing them over to india. they hid osama from americans inspite of taking billions as aid, they are doing the same with dawood and HS. in this circumstances the best strategy is to project pak as a den from terrorists

I hold out ZERO hope of Pakistan handing anyone over to India. Like you pointed out, the Pakistanis continued to harbour OBL despite tremendous pressure being applied by the USG. India could never dream of having such leverage on the Pakistanis so there's next to no possibility for India to get its way.

And, like I said, I don't see what good maligning Pakistan's image can do. India needs to impose a cost on Pakistan for its continuous anti-India activities and thus should take tangible measures to isolate Pakistan on the global stage both diplomatically and economically.

What wrong has the Prime Minister said by asking to fight infections, disease and ailment through developing better sanitary standards in a country of 125 crores?
