Ya will love to see M249 in IA. Do you know what we have right now ???

Currently regular army units are issued with license produced FN Mag 58 GPMGs as squad support weapons.Paratroopers use IMI Negev,FN Minimi and Mag 58.

But I was wondering,since when M4 is being categorised as an assault rifle??!!M 4 is a hopelessly under-powered weapon and that's why even the US MC rejected infavour of M 16A4. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

In 1971, a Pakistani soldier shot down an IAF Mystere IV fighter/bomber with his G-3 Assault Rifle.

Since POF manufactures this weapon, i guess we should use the above example for it's marketing ploy.

M-4s are good tactical weapons for special forces. However, in an open battle, even NATO expressed its resentment. But good development. Cooperation between USA and India is important.

If only we did not have such a clown-puppet for a PM...

I mean for special forces, clearly the better option would have been the M4a1.


The M4 only has a three shot burst or single fire, while the M4a1 has automatic and single fire.

Sounds stupid to me, that M4 is better for close quarters when it doesn't even have automatic.

M-4 isn't no way advanced, there are tens of better alternatives in the market.
