US-Afghanistan - An Opinion

.
They have always been playing god after the exlosions in WW2 in hiroshima and nagasaki they think they are the creators of this world and also destroyers at their will.........

A few nuclear explosions in their own cities will make them feel like human...

I don't want people killed to teach humanity, this is the way of the US for a long time, i just wanted that they resalize what they are doing is wrong, they are not acting like a leader but a some power hungry lunatic.

.
absolutely agree, US has plenty of failings and its citizens are quite introspective but to obfuscate history like ashodeva has is beyond the pale.

whats beyond the pale is how you fail to look at the cold hard figures, dead bodies and coffins that the us has caused - this is obfuscation - just look at the figures.

Lets See:
We accuse US of overthrowing foreign regimes and installing stooges… we did that in BD in 1971.

We accuse US of interfering in other nation’s affairs..again 1971.

We accuse US of not coming to aid of distressed people and failing to stop genocide… we failed to come to the aid of Tamil Civilians in SL and we also failed the people of Myanmar.

We accuse US of supporting foreign organizations specializing in subversion activities..we supported LTTE which became the most brutal terrorist organizationan & Mukti Bahini in BD.

We accuse US of going to war in AF and Iraq…we nearly wemt to war with Pakistan over 26/11 eventhough the number of people killed in 26/11 was not oven 1/10th of 9/11.

We accuse US of trying to grab natural resources of other countries..we along with China are doing exactly the same in Africa.

Bottom-line is that US is no saint, neither are we.
I am a patriot, but not a blind nationalist not to see my country’s deficiencies.

you are not really here to discuss things are you, just to deflect any legitimate and verifiable criticism of the US, hence the admission of defeat with this (non) response.

first, I've clearly accepted the US failings in foreign policies in some cases but protested this claim made in the article and specifically the broad brush that ashokadeva applied to the US. Second, pointing out hypocrisy of feigned outrage is hardly a non response. If the US had sanctions on India and roles get reversed where Pakistan is the beneficiary - you would signing praises of the US just like you guys did in the 80's. every time a cold start theory is brought into conversations I have seen you guys ( vocal majority here)profess your love for nuclear retaliation... so why the hypocrisy with the US? well I know why...but leave that debate to another day.

Now everything stated has been stated in my previous post- but if you still want to claim that is a non response, then more power to you. because my debate was with the indian poster.

I am not anti US but US has done some horrible things in third world countries:

Can someone come here and justify the use of agent orange on vietnam or the DU weapons in iraq after watching that video? i dont think so.....all those indians who are supporting US i think they never heard of US corporation MONSANTO that is trying to control the food supply of their nation.

There are some pretty good docs on the subject do watch them all you will see who are the real enemies of india.....Corporations like monsanto that want us destroyed from the inside out are far greater threat than pakistan or china.

ashok was essentially making the same point as me, and i believe agreeing with much of what i said, so there is not much distinction to be made there unless you cannot see beyond flags.

your post makes little sense, how can you make an equivalence between the very real deaths of tens of thousands versus rhetoric on a forum?

do you acknowledge and understand that the US has killed hundreds of thousands in the last decade, or not?

Not unlike what Pakistan did in Bangladesh or when it attacked India unprovoked ... look I'm done debating with you. But don't know how many times to say, yes it has its fallacies. My roots being Indian had me protesting an Indian who sounds like quite frankly - what you guys profess to as majority ( per polls) i.e. the bad US and its conspiracy to grab your nukes , to take over your lands , to kill as many Muslims etc etc. I enjoy these forums and don't want to push it debating you folks too much , if you really want to know why I'm walking away from engaging you.

yes, like what pakistan done in bangladesh which was regrettable and painful - i guess in your own somewhat backhanded and slightly cowardly way you just conceded that america has killed a hundred thousand + people/

but pakistan, unlike america has not repeated anything in cambodia, vietnam, afghanistan, pakistan, iraq and libya - and pakistan has not claimed to be the upholder of human rights, but still kill millions.

because that what you were saying, and once you are exposed you leave.

just as well.

you mean 4 tries at wars with India was not repetitious- just that the success rate was not achieved , if not 100,000 ( military , civilian collateral damage)of Indians would be slaughtered.

you win I lose :) and no point have I hidden the fact of American foreign policy failures ( now repeated it in multiple posts - although you choose to only cherry pick some of my views). I have protested against the broad brush used and showed the hypocrisy of you accusing the the Americans when it was all bhai bhai with the Americans in the 80's.

--I will continue debating if need be with Indians to maintain safety in my cowardice as you have eloquently stated .

are you saying there is an equivalence between pakistan and india wars - and american foreign intervention in every corner of the world in the name of human rights and prosperity?

is this how ludicrous and disingenuous your logic has to become to give a response?

you were never debating, you offered no argument, you only came into this thread to deflect away from facts.

the number of dead do not constitute a mere "foreign policy failure" - it constitutes something genocidal.

what is your debate other than to be disingenuous and smarmy?

can i ask a question or two - what good has a hundred thousand people + dead across a region done? is this only a failure to you?

LET USA HAVE FUN WITH KILLING THOUSANDS OF INNOCENTS, THEIR LEADERS ARE GOING TO BURN IN HELL TOO, REMEMBER THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.

.
Lot of Indians here are talking without the context here. America is world super power. It is seen as its responsibility to provide security to the world. Its not only theirs but worlds expectation. When people are oppressed they look to America for support not India. They might have taken wrong decisions lately. But overall they did much good than bad. Invading Afghanistan ha..Why don't you guys ask Afghans if they still like to live under Taliban. I personally think its because America's proactive measures that we didn't see another world war.
