Agreed sir, but here is a point.
Each TOW missile comes ina a specialized container, and having a shelf life of 10-12 years. After that, precision of the missile cannot be assured. There may be many problemassociated with missiles retrieved from old stores. The missile may become a dud, after launch, its ejector/flight motor may malfunction, control surfaces may malfunction, infrared beacon may be faulty, so thet missile cannot be guided correctly.
I think most of the TOWs were received in 80s, and i doubt, Pakistan has the capabilty to relife the missile in its container (it may require to be sent to USA)
BS are produced here, but lets use dubious TOWs first (until USA has not provided a new lot). Lets not save TOWs whose reliabilty is unsure, for a rainy day, when faced with an armoured attack. Save BS for that. For low priority targets/low intensity targets, like hitting Taliban vehicles, bunkers, houses, use old TOWs.
