until retired it should run on lighter payloads will decrease chance on falling so much....

I don't think Airforce will reduce its capacity less than for required missions . They will send other fighters instead. but it will have required payload for mission it is assigned for.

F-7 are modify version with improve in agility and better low level handling. THe enlarged crop delta wing also increase fuel capacity. It is build much later years compare to IAF Mig bison. Therefore the lifespan is younger and less accident prone.

All of our F7`s r heavily upgraded to F7PG standard which is quite superior and newer than ur bisons

Pilots are thousand times more valuable, and thank God pilot remained safe. These old Russian MIGs should have been decommissioned long ago by IAF. Don't know why Tejas has taken so long to finally get into serial production phase. These planes should be phased out in next 5 years otherwise this problem would be become bigger and bigger i am afraid.

All your post are nonsense. F-7 are latter stages of China aviation technology aircraft. Quality is better and lifespan is much superior than Russian made old Bison. Nationalism can only bring you that far. Let me ask you one simple question, why PAF F-7 and PLAAF J-7 did not crashed as often as IAF Mig Bison?

Brother I don't understand . Are u telling 30 years old fighter jets are good in 2015 or beyond because of its history , legacy and it can carry bomb rides on terrorists ? Then what about Mig 21 and Mig 27 why do you think we want to replace ?

After upgrades, even the 30 year old fighter becomes a 4+ Generation machine.
It maybe 30 year old bot it has enough adaptability to be turned into a ,modern day fighting capability. Age alone doesn't count as a factor, PAF is still flying Mirages that it acquired in the 70s but has already retired the A-5 which was inducted in the 80s, may i also remind you that PAF declined both the MiG-21 and SU-7s when offered by Soviets in late 60s but inducted the much more capable F-7s some two decades later.
