Updated Pilot SAFE : Mig 21 Crashed ! Pilot ejected to safety

@Ind4Ever has put the Title in right sequence. Here most of us know that if there is a news about Mig-21, what sort of news it would be and most of us (Indians or no-Indians) want to know if Pilot was safe.

So 1+ for the putting the title right and 1- for India loosing another bird to its age.

A quick question: What is total number of non-crashed Mig-21s in Indian Inventory at the moment?

There is a secret plan, we would not retire MIG 21, IAF would exhausted with these type of war practice
save your pilots ...nothing precious than a human life ....we phased out our F-6, A-5 and many F-7s as well !

We should decommission these Mig 21's at the earliest. If the IAF or govt. is not willing to do it then we should go to the courts. We cannot put peoples lives and of the pilots at risk. These flying coffins should be put to rest asap.

Yes the payload of tejas with GE404 is 3t and the range of radar is limited to 45kms not because any issues with radar but because of the composite radome that is not completely transparent to propagation of EM waves.
The payload of tejas can be increased by strengthening the under-carriage and using GE414,so the naval LCA is going to have higher payload and mk-2 will have a payload of 5t

They are a capable fighter /interceptor aircraft and will play a big role in a conflict

India should fast track it AESA project so that Dependency atleast on the radar should be corrected

MMR radar needs Radome material so that it helps radar waves easily pass through it and give all weather protection.
In case of AESA it is not needed since aesa don't have any moving parts in comparison to basic fire control Radars.

Based on? All official figures and statements clearly states 3.5t and unless want to say that the they carry less than 1000l fuel the 1200l fuel tank, that doesn't make any sense, especially since they wouldn't carry the 1200l fuel tanks then but only the lighter and less draggy 800l once.

The pilots who fly the MiG-21 still love it(It's an unforgiving aircraft, though)
And the IAF's most experienced pilots fly the MiG-21.

The first Tejas has been handed over to the IAF, and serial production will start this year. It will replace mig-21s and mig-27s.
That's why I hate jamnagar ;)
