1) Syrians launched S-200 towards Israeli Negev desert.
2) S-200 self destroyed near Abu Qrenat Arab village in Israel.
3) Small debris fell in Ashalim village in Israel.

Later Israel destroyed that S-200 battery and some other too.

Its range likely refers to how far it can effectively hit a plane, not its entire ballistic trajectory till it impacts the ground.
